Jessica Simpson Tweets About Her Food Choices | jessica simpson

Jessica Simpson, who will give birth next spring, has been tweeting a lot these days about her current favorite foods – let’s see what she’s been eating:

"Kraft mac and cheese with Lawry's seasoning salt is the breakfast of pregnant champions!!!"

"This week it's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toasted. And then, I'll put some salt on my hand like I'm taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich."

"I'll cry at the drop of a hat. That's the one thing about pregnancy. Even a great souffle would make me cry. I felt the baby move the other day for the first time and I had big crocodile tears."

… says Jessica.

See more shots of this pregnant beauty next!

Eva Longoria’s Biggest Health Regret Is the Time She Became a Vegan

Eva Longorias Biggest Health Regret Is the Time She Became a Vegan | celebrity quotes

Eva Longoria covers Health magazine this month and she has a few interesting thoughts to share:

On how she defines a healthy life:
“People think health only has to do with your physical being, but for me, it’s so much more. I remember after my divorce, I was so thin and everyone kept saying how great I looked and it was probably the most unhealthy place I’ve ever been. So it was funny what people would see as ‘healthy.’ In my worst time, people were saying I’ve never looked better. [But now] I have a great diet and exercise routine. And I try to have a healthy outlook. I’m your everlasting, hopeless optimist!”

On her big health regret:
“Well, I think the time that I became a vegan. [Laughs] I love the philosophy behind veganism, but I went from one day eating chicken and meat to eating just salad. I didn’t know how to be a vegan. I didn’t know about soy or almond butter. I didn’t know that there are great breads. So I literally stuck to salads. And I think I passed out the first week.”

See 2 more and share your thoughts!

Top 10 Fantasy and Horror Books of 2011

2011 was a big year for doorstopper-sized fantasy novels, particularly A Dance of Dragons by George R.R. Martin, which is a whopping 1,040 pages. It sold 298,000 copies on its first day alone, which included 170,000 hardcovers, 110,000 eBooks, and 18,000 audiobooks, proving that although ebook sales are catching up, print is still ahead for big releases like this.

Another major series that got a hugely anticipated sequel came in the form of Patrick Rothfuss' The Wise Man's Fear, which continues the events of The Name of the Wind and propels Kvothe into an even more compelling situations. Canadian horror also got a few notable entries with Enter, Night and Dead of Winter, both historical fiction novels and both superbly written. Small and mid-sized presses continue to produce some of the best genre fiction out there, and this year proved no exception.

Here's my picks for the Top 10 Fantasy and Horror Books of 2011 [...]

Doctor Who Cubeecraft

There's been a cool little crafty fan movement online for some while now, especially from the folks over at Cubeecraft, for people to put together their own cuby geek goodies using paper craft. Now, thanks to some dedicated time and modifications by Chris aka ~CyberDrone over at Deviantart.com, you can now construct your own TARDIS from Doctor Who.

And it's not just one TARDIS we're talking here… there are several variations including the Bad Wolf TARDIS from the David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston periods, a classic black and white TARDIS from the early William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton days, and even the rare pink TARDIS from one of Sylvester McCoy's episodes. Yes, you read that correctly: a PINK TARDIS! [...]

Okay, so there are a lot of rumors circulating across the Internet that concerns a work that many a comic book reader holds dearly in their hearts. And that comic book work is Watchmen. Now, are they Spielberg-ing by replacing The Comedian's gun with a walkie-talkie? No. But the rumor is that we'll be seeing a Watchmen prequel comic from DC Comics sooner rather than later. Watch Now: ‘Alien’ & ‘Prometheus’ Teaser Trailer Mash-Up

Posted: 30 Dec 2011 08:01 AM PST

Prometheus

Whether Ridley Scott chooses to admit it or not (and he will come release time), his upcoming return to big-budget science fiction Prometheus is linked in more than one vaguely defined way to Alien, the classic intergalactic horror film that made the director's feature directing career. The recently released teaser trailer and poster are practically wearing the Alien influence in the form of a neon sign mounted on its head. So it makes sense for some clever video editor to link the two movies in the form of a trailer mash-up, and that's exactly what YouTube user heresjohnny1991 has done.

You can watch the video here below.
