Watch Now: ‘Alien’ & ‘Prometheus’ Teaser Trailer Mash-Up Posted: 30 Dec 2011 08:01 AM PST Whether Ridley Scott chooses to admit it or not (and he will come release time), his upcoming return to big-budget science fiction Prometheus is linked in more than one vaguely defined way to Alien, the classic intergalactic horror film that made the director's feature directing career. The recently released teaser trailer and poster are practically wearing the Alien influence in the form of a neon sign mounted on its head.
