Freida Pinto join "Rise of the Apes"

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is in negotiations to star in the upcoming Planet of the Apes prequel "Rise of the Apes" opposite James Franco.
According to Variety, the 25 year-old actress will "play the role of Caroline, a primatologist".

"Apes" deals with the aftermath of man's experiments with genetic engineering that lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy. Franco will play a driven scientist who becomes a crucial figure in the war between humans and apes.
Rupert Wyatt will helm this flick and it is set for June 24, 2011 release.

Glee's Reality Show Cancelled!

The ratings of the musical hit series "Glee" is soaring high and doing extension activities could hurt the show. That's why, the Glee Reality Show is now cancelled!!

Fox previously design a plan to create a "Glee reality show" to find new/additional cast members for show's next season but later on they decided to focus to the main show.
According to NYmag, "Glee creator Ryan Murphy wants to keep his focus on producing the main series, and overseeing another brand extension would end up being a distraction that could hurt the show. Fox unveiled the never-titled reality project last January at the same time it confirmed it was renewing Glee for a second season.

Murphy and Fox execs have since quietly agreed to kill the on-air competition after it became clear that working on the reality show would mean less time for planning season two (and the recently announced season three).
Murphy is right, it will just slice up the creative mind and time. The sad thing is, many aspiring teens/singers are frustrated with this news.

Meanwhile, Charice confirmed via her twitter page that she's joining "Glee" next season.

Mariah Carey sued for "unpaid pet bills"

Singer/actress Mariah Carey wants the best pampering for her three dogs but it seems she failed to take care the people handling it. A veterinarian filed a lawsuit against Mariah after allegedly failing to pay $38,000 bill.
According to TMZ, "Dr. Cindy Bressler sued Mariah in Manhattan today -- and in the suit she says she provided "extraordinary services" for three of Mariah's Jack Russell terriers ... Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ. Bressler claims she's only been paid $8,000".

The vet was in charge of grooming and feeding the doggy divas while Mariah was in L.A. promoting "Precious." According to the attorney, Bressler also brought tiny Dolomite into this world -- delivering the pup last year.
If I'm not mistaken, Mariah's dog ChaCha recently gave birth which was announced via her tweeter page. She also recently wrote, "breaking news...ChaCha &JJ's newest puppy now has a (Drum roll pls) name!.... Jackie Lambchops(said like Tony Soprano)"

She can easily pay that tab!

Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa Bryant is definitely the most famous Lakers wife and it seems Khloe Kardashian is starting to take all the attention. Now, In Touch Weekly' is reporting that allegedly Vanessa really "hates" Khloe and her entire family for being attention seekers.
In Touch Weekly reports: Khloé Kardashian is feeling unloved — not because of her husband, Lamar Odom, but because of one of his Lakers teammates' wives.

According to an insider, Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, "hates" Khloé and her entire family, whom she sees as attention-grabbing fame-seekers. And instead of hiding her feelings, Vanessa refuses to have anything to do with the 26-year-old. "She won't sit anywhere near Khloé at Lakers games," the insider reveals, adding that because of Vanessa's dislike of her, Khloé has been shut out of the tight-knit circle the other Lakers' wives have formed. "At a dinner for the wives, Vanessa didn't want to invite Khloé," the insider shares. "She said Khloé is a 'fake wife,' and she didn't want fake wives there." The feeling is mutual. The insider says Khloé and Vanessa have "gotten into fights" in the past. And at the Lakers' NBA Finals game on June 17, Khloé brought Lamar's two children, as well as her mom, Kris, and siblings Kim, Rob, Kendall and Kylie — and they all stayed far away from Vanessa.
