'House' Hugh Laurie Recording Blues Album

House M.D. star Hugh Laurie will be recording a blues album this summer which will be released by Warner label WME.

Laurie said, "I am drunk with excitement at this opportunity. I know the history of actors making music is a chequered one, but I promise no one will get hurt. I am particularly thrilled to be working with Joe Henry, who has produced some of my favourite records of all time, and I can't wait to get started."

Laurie displayed his musical talents playing piano and guitar in different television shows and he has worked with artists including Elvis Costello, Teddy Thompson and Solomon Burke. He also played piano as a special guest on Meat Loaf's 2010 album.

The album has no release date yet.

Pilipinas For The Win will replace Wowowee on July 31; OFFICIAL STATEMENT Released

ABS-CBN made the right decision of replacing the noontime show "Wowowee" with another new show. Robin Padilla and Kris Aquino will team up for "Pilipinas For The Win (FTW)".

The network managed to keep their principles in ethics in not retaining the old "Wowowee" set up which was stained with controversies despite the show's popularity.

ABS-CBN also reports that Willie Revillame will continue his services via a new program but no details was released.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON ABS-CBN'S NEW NOONTIME SHOW

On Saturday (July 31), ABS-CBN is launching a new noontime show called Pilipinas For The Win (FTW). The new show will be hosted by Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Pokwang, and Kris Aquino. It is a game and variety show that will surely bring joy, energy and hope to Filipinos all over the world.

Pilipinas For The Win will replace Wowowee. Willie Revillame, through his manager, was already informed about this new development. He was also notified about the new program being planned for him and this will be announced in due time.

Pilipinas For The Win will be managed by director Johnny Manahan, creative director Bobot Mortiz, business unit head Jay Montelibano, and executive producers Phoebe Anievas and Rancy Recato. It will be aired after Showtime.

Ilulunsad na ng ABS-CBN ang isang bagong noontime show sa Sabado, July 3I. Ito ay ang Pilipinas For The Win (FTW), na pagtatampukan nina Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Pokwang at Kris Aquino. Ang programa ay isang game at variety show na tiyak na magbibigay sigla at pag-asa sa mga Pilipino saan mang panig ng mundo.

Ang Pilipinas For The Win ay papalit sa Wowowee. Si Willie Revillame, sa pamamagitan ng kangyang manager, ay nasabihan na tungkol sa pagbabagong ito. Napaalam na rin kay Willie ang programang pinaplano para sa kanya at ito ay ipapahayag sa takdang panahon.

Rihanna joins "Battleship" with Alexander Skarsgard & Taylor Kitsch

Rihanna has secured the role for the upcoming action-adventure "Battleship", based from Hasbro's naval combat board game.

The 22 year-old singer is joining Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch and True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard.

"Battleship" is about a naval fleet which will battle for planet survival against a superior enemies. Kitsch and Skarsgard will play as bothers.

This live action movie will be helm by Peter Berg for the May 2012 release.

Paris Hilton is not making a Nazi salute, rep. says

Socialite Paris Hilton is in the hot seat after photos of her surfaced online which shows her doing the Nazi salute while partying in a yacht in the French Riviera but the heiress rep. quickly denies the Nazi action and insisted that she was just dancing and scratching her face at the same time.
The rep told RadarOnline, "This is totally false. The photos are misrepresented. Paris did not make a reference to Hitler. Much of her family is Jewish as are the majority of her friends and she is very upset and offended at the allegations.

"She was wearing a captains hat given to her in a club, it was not military — and that the photos show her with her arm up, she was dancing with both her arms up, scratched her face with one of her hands. That provided the basis for photographers to make these erroneous claims."
Paris Hilton is returning again doing wild party lifestyle and I said it before, Paris is just drunk and foolishly careless in this incident. She's not like Jesse James!

DMX returns to Jail for 90 Days; Newest Mugshot

DMX is once again behind bars to serve 90 days in jail due to probation violation in connection to his reckless driving conviction in 2002.

According to TMZ, DMX surrendered to authorities to served his jail time and his manger said that DMX is "focused" on taking care of all of his past legal issues so he can move on with his life. [Above photo is his newest Mugshot]

It seems DMX is taking care all of his legal troubles and maybe he is expecting new projects after his jail time.

DMX also finished her jail stint in Arizona after he pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of marijuana.

If you remember in the height of the split-up with his ex-wife, Hulk Hogan said in his past interview that he understand what O.J. Simpson has done to his wife and he is furious about his ex-wife's boy toy.
