Maggie Gyllenhaal To Star in comedy film "Hysteria", about the Invention Of Vibrators

Talking about a story which definitely will create buzz and intriguing interest. Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal will star in an indie film called "Hysteria", a romantic comedy centered on the invention of the vibrator in Victorian-era England. (Yap, you heard it right vibrator! LoL!!)

According to Variety, Hugh Dancy, Jonathan Pryce and Rupert Everett have already been signed to co-star.

Gyllenhaal portrays the daughter of a doctor (Pryce's character). Pryce joined his fellow doctor (Hugh Dancy) in treating cases of hysteria by experimenting with a new electrical device.

Production to begin in October.

Lady Gaga "Queen of Twitter"; Video message to her "little monsters"

Eccentric singer Lady Gaga tweeted her thanks and appreciation to her "little monsters" for making her the Queen of Twitter. [Video Below]

Gaga recently surpassed Britney Spears after generating over 5.7 million Twitter followers. Wearing a lace headpiece with a sequined Twitter logo, she sent a video message via Twitter:
"Hello world, this is Lady Gaga, queen of Twitter. I wanted to thank all of my beautiful little monsters for following me. Thank you for beginning my reign as Twitter queen. May you always have soft cuticles while tweeting. May you never have carpal tunnel. ... I vow to always tweet and tweet again. Just remember that I love you and love yourself. I love you Twitter."

Karissa Shannon & Heidi Montag girl-on-girl Sex Tape

Spencer Pratt gave another reason to entice all of us on the said sex tapes of his soon-to-be ex-wife's Heidi Montag. He claims that Heidi was also involved in a girl-on-girl action with Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon, former twin girlfriend of Hugh Hefner.

According to TMZ, Spencer found this exciting tape while he was moving out some of his stuff from the Malibu home he once shared with Heidi.

Spencer instantly saw a big dollar sign and he realized that it will be great selling their X-rated videos to Vivid Entertainment.

Heidi recently denied the existence of any sex tape but Karissa confirmed to TMZ that they did indeed make a sex tape.

Karissa also doesn't believe Spencer has the steamy xxx tape, but she will file a lawsuit if the tape ever comes out.

Spencer reportedly asking $5 million dollars for Heidi Montag's library of sex tapes.

Faith Evans Arrested for DUI

Rapper Faith Evans was arrested and booked for suspicion of drunk driving after being stopped at a DUI checkpoint near Marina Del Rey in Los Angeles on Saturday (August 21). 

 Her car was impounded and she was eventually released after few hours in police custody.

GMA-7's Philippine national anthem "Lupang Hinirang" cinematic video

GMA Network delivered another superb presentation as they released the cinematic version of the Philippine national anthem "Lupang Hinirang" featuring the brightest Kapuso stars.

It retells the Philippine History through a succession of carefully-crafted and awe-inspiring reenactments of historical events from Lapu-Lapu's victory over Magellan's troops in the Battle of Mactan to the Filipinos' peaceful revolt in pursuit of democracy in the 1986 People Power Revolution at EDSA.

The new version, which was conceived from the strengthened corporate partnership between GMA Network and SM Cinemas, advances the narration of Philippine history from the standard versions released before.

This project was done in close coordination with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, who recognized the Network's efforts to instill nationalism and patriotism among the Filipino people.

The roster of Kapuso stars who played Philippine historical icons include (in alphabetical order): Aljur Abrenica, Marvin Agustin, Victor Aliwalas, Alvin Aragon, Bea Binene, Iza Calzado, Bodie Cruz, Dingdong Dantes, Gabby and Geoff Eigenmann, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Carlo Gonzalez, Carl Guevarra, Richard Gutierrez, Dion Ignacio, Paolo Paraiso, Enzo Pineda, Rhian Ramos, Marian Rivera, Arthur Solinap, Mike Tan, JC Tiuseco, Dennis Trillo, and TJ Trinidad.

Also included in the video are Ogie Alcasid, Heart Evangelista, Eddie Garcia, Jaya, Zoren Legaspi, German "Kuya Germs" Moreno, Regine Velasquez, Carmina Villaroel, Jillian Ward, and more; plus News and Public Affairs' pillars composed of Arnold Clavio, Mike Enriquez, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, Jessica Soho, and Mel Tiangco.

Shot wholly in high-definition (HD) digital video technology, the national anthem is slated to roll on the big screens of SM across the country. It will also be a part of GMA's sign-on and sign-off messages marking the beginning and end of each day's broadcast.
