Mary-Kate Olsen: ‘I would never wish my upbringing on anyone…’ Posted: 04 Aug 2010 01:22 PM PDT Mary-Kate Olsen is featured in Marie Claire this month and she looks as stylish as ever in princess-like pink gowns, fur and sequins – but besides her fashiony ways, Mary-Kate also wants to share a deeper thought: Outside of the spotlight, the 24-year-old bohemian star loves designing for her mix of labels — from The Row to her and Ashley's lower-priced Olsenboye line for JCPenney — because "it's kind of like a mask to hide behind." In fact, Mary-Kate likens her and her sister to "little monkey performers" when referencing her childhood in front of the cameras: "I look at old photos of me, and I don't feel connected to them at all… I would never wish my upbringing on anyone…" Mary-Kate also opened up about the eating disorder she struggled with a few years ago: And when the topics turn to her tabloid-plastered problems with an eating disorder (she entered treatment for one in 2004) and with a hard-partying lifestyle (including her time with the late Heath Ledger), she only says that she's learned to seek help when she needs it: "I think it's really important to be able to talk when something's wrong. Jennifer Aniston as Barbra Steisand in Harper’s Bazaar Posted: 04 Aug 2010 01:04 PM PDT For the September issue of Harper's Bazaar Magazine, Jennifer Aniston got a makeover: short and shiny hair, long nails and lots of seductive make-up, plus a little bit of attitude… all with the purpose of paying an homage to Barbara Streisand. On wanting Streisand's voice: "Someone said to me, 'If I had Barbra's voice for just one day,' and I said, 'Nah, I don't want to be greedy. If I had her voice for just one shower — just a shower's worth — I would be happy.'" If so, perhaps it's worth forgetting modesty and selling tickets. "Hmm, no," she laughs.
