Emma Watson on her childhood and friends in Marie Claire magazine’s December 2010 issue

Posted: 03 Nov 2010 11:48 PM PDT

Actress Emma Watson looks sweet and sexy with her short 'do as she graces the cover of Marie Claire magazine's December 2010 issue.

Highlights of her interview:

On her new new pixie style haircut: "I've wanted to do it since I was about 16, and when Harry Potter ended in June, I just needed a change. It was quite symbolic for me. It's very short; it was buzzed at the back and on the sides. And it's really liberating that I can walk out without thinking about it."

On her college life at Brown University: "Brown has a real sense of community, and people are very protective of me. They really look out for me; they want me to feel like I'm part of it. I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn't even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I'd found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged."

On doing last scenes for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows": "My last day was pretty emotional," she admitted. "It was sad; it's the end of an era. What an amazing learning experience! I gave everything I could to that role, and I got so much from it."

On growing up and keeping herself out of trouble: "I do things in my own way, but I've never felt any need to rebel," she said. "To be honest, I've always had far too much freedom. I had a job when I was 10. I started living on my own when I was 17 or 18. I've earned my own money; I've traveled the world. What would I rebel against? I've had so much freedom, sometimes it was hard. My parents wanted to protect me, but they had no idea how to. I had to learn as I went and make my own mistakes. I went from being totally unknown and never acting professionally to being in a major movie and being very famous. It all happened so quickly, I didn't have any time to work things out. It's been pretty scary at times."

Kevin Garnett Calls Charlie Villanueva a "Cancer Patient"

Posted: 03 Nov 2010 08:40 PM PDT

Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett delivered some trash talking insult to Charlie Villanueva of the Detroit Pistons in which KG called him a cancer patient on the field. Charlie felt that KG is insensitive and very offensive!

Charlie Villanueva tweeted, "KG talks alot of crap, he's prob never been in a fight, I would love to get in a ring with him, I will expose him"
"KG called me a cancer patient, I'm pissed because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he's tossing it like it's a joke"
"I wouldn't even trip about that, but a cancer patient, I know way 2 many people who passed away from it, and I have a special place 4 those"
Garnett answers back by releasing a statement: . "My comment to Charlie Villanueva was in fact, 'You are cancerous to your team and our league.' I would never be insensitive to the brave struggle that cancer patients endure. I have lost loved ones to this deadly disease and have a family member currently undergoing treatment. I would never say anything that distasteful. The game of life is far bigger than the game of basketball."

Whatever it is, we must learned how not to become insensitive in certain issues.
