Paul McCartney Performs ‘Yesterday’ Parody ‘Scrambled Eggs’ With Jimmy Fallon

Posted: 09 Dec 2010 11:43 PM PST

Paul McCartney & Jimmy Fallon

Music legend Paul McCartney made an appearance last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, where he performed two songs.

You can watch both performances here below.

The first video has host Jimmy Fallon singing a duet with McCartney called "Scrambled Eggs" sung to the tune of The Beatles hit "Yesterday." McCartney has always said that "Scrambled Eggs" were the words he used as a placeholder when he came up with the melody for "Yesterday," so this rendition has the original placeholder lyrics, never performed before. (I particularly like the verse about the Tofu Wings.) Fallon did a great job singing along for this very humorous version.

McCartney also played "Here Today," in honor of his friend and former bandmate, the late John Lennon, who was killed 30 years ago December 8. The song is about what he would say to his friend if he were still alive today [...]

Serenity Sake

The $9 t-shirt deal of the day over at Teefury is a Firefly-inspired shirt called, "Serenity Sake" by artist Ian Leino.

The background is similar to the round Serenity logo (and has the same Chinese characters at the bottom). The bottom of the shirt says "SERENITY SAKE With just a touch of Saffon." (Saffron was a reoccurring character on Firefly). At the bottom right is the flag for the Alliance, along with a warning.

Adidas Unveils Their ‘Tron: Legacy’ Clothing Line

Posted: 09 Dec 2010 04:55 PM PST

The Walt Disney Company and Adidas have teamed up to deliver a specialty clothing line inspired by director Joseph Kosinski's visually stunning futuristic sequel, Tron: Legacy.

This special collection features a bunch of jackets, t-shirts, hoodies, and more, many of which are either glow-in-the-dark or 3D. Everything well-represents the Tron style, and anyone who wants to go all-out when they go to see it when it's released next week should find some wild wardrobe combinations here.

You can check out some of these Tron-inspired clothes by clicking on over to the other side, and see more by heading to Adidas's website.

As you can see in the image below, it appears that they also have some footwear available, but for some reason those are not on the Adidas site along with everything else. Still, more movies should do this; we geeks are proud to throw anything on that references our favorites, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few more stylish options! [...]

Learn All You Need To Know About ‘World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm’ … Sorta

Posted: 09 Dec 2010 08:56 AM PST

A new video is making its way around the internet that has a lot of people talking.

The video, quite simply, is just a girl talking about the new highly anticipated expansion pack, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. The thing is, she's having some George W. Bush-like issues talking about the new release.

Along with pronunciation issues, the video cuts a multitude of times, creating something of a Max Headroom effect and leading many to wonder if this is all just some big joke.

You can judge for yourself by click over to the other side and checking out the video now!

This became so popular that it was even shown on G4's Attack of the Show (click to watch), who proceeded to spoof it in hilarious fashion with Caprica star Alessandra Torresani. The girl from the video then reacted to G4's coverage of her -- with a seemingly positive attitude -- but also states that "people mispronounce words all the time," meaning it was apparently no joke.
