George Clooney Replacing Robert Downey Jr. in "Gravity" Posted: 17 Dec 2010 12:08 AM PST George Clooney is attached to do Alfonso Cuaron's sci-fi thriller "Gravity" opposite Sandra Bullock. According to deadline, Clooney replaces Robert Downey, Jr. after he "bow out of the project because of scheduling problems". Two astronauts played by the team leader (Clooney) and Bullock's character are fighting to survive on a remote space station after satellite debris wipes out the rest of the crew and destroys most of the station. Production will begin in late April or early May. |
Manny Pacquiao, Venus Raj & Vicki Belo - Philippines Top 3 Most Credible Endorsers for 2010 Posted: 16 Dec 2010 11:03 PM PST Boxing champion/Sarangani Congressman Manny Pacquiao, 2010 Miss Philippines-Universe Venus Raj and celebrity doctor Vicki Belo created a reliable and credible image which gave them recognition as the Most Credible Celebrity Endorsers for 2010. The study was conducted by Synergy Business Consultancy. The market research consulting firm shared that 67% of its respondents bought a product or availed of a service due to a celebrity endorser. The respondents were comprised of 1,000 males and females, aged 15-60 years old, from all socio-economic classes in Metro Manila. The study was conducted from September to October 2010. This year, Pacquiao continued to extend his influence not only to professional boxing but also to consumers. Same to Synergy's 2009 study, 47% of respondents believed that he is a credible endorser. Following Pacquiao was Belo, whose credibility rose 7% this year. Other Celebrity endorsers prove to be effective are Kris Aquino, Angel Locsin, Gretchen Barretto, Angel Aquino, Derek Ramsay, and sexy young actress Cristine Reyes. |

This is her 13th time, more than anyone else in the magazine's 57-year history. The 43 year-old PETA activist did an eight-page nude pictorial and wrote a poem for this issue called "Musings From the Bed of Pamela." She wrote: "Please let's show the good in us. . . The brilliance. . . The wonderful. . . It's abundant — it's just not tapped as it should be…The youth … The wild that rose up from the ashes.
