Lohan's camp considering legal action Posted: 28 Dec 2010 10:17 PM PST  Lindsay Lohan's colorful-controversial life has been the subjects of punch lines and other comedy works like the upcoming comedy movie "Dogs in Pocketbooks". Lydia Hearst Shaw has landed her biggest break in which screenwriter Charles Casillo told the New York Post that "Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media -- a role obviously based on Lindsay Lohan." But the movie is now fueling objection from Lohan's camp. According to TMZ, Lindsay's family is considering taking legal action since the film is "using her likeness without her being compensated" and add, "Not only that but they are advertising the fact that they are using her likeness." With legal action is now being considered, Dogs in Pocketbooks' screenwriter Charles Casillo is now saying that movie is not about Lindsay Lohan. Explaining that "[The movie] is in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay." The movie is "a satire about the crazy people around her and the situations they generate." | Rihanna and Matt Kemp Call It Quits Posted: 28 Dec 2010 09:35 PM PST  Singer Rihanna has been celebrating the holiday season as a single lady because she and her boyfriend Matt Kemp have gone their separate ways, ending their relationship after almost a year together. A source tells Us Weekly, "It happened over the last few weeks. She basically was just over it." Also, "It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun." Time schedules is a big part of their split-up. The source add, "He just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule. Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. She and her boyfriend Jim Toth are now engaged to be married! Witherspoon's representative confirmed to Us Weekly and says, "They are extremely happy." Reese and Jim began dating in January 2010, after her split from Jake Gyllenhaal. The 34 year-old actress' first road to happiness is with Ryan Phillippe but they decided to divorced in 2008, ending their seven years of marriage. Hemsworth's rep confirms the marriage over the holiday but no further details are released. Meanwhile, Hemsworth is set for the upcoming films Thor (with Natalie Portman) and The Avengers. | Jewel Mische wants the support of the Kimerald fans Posted: 28 Dec 2010 04:23 PM PST  ABS-CBN will be working double time in promoting Jewel Mische as the new leading lady of Gerald Anderson in the upcoming 2011 shows, "Bagwis" and "Buhawi Jack". The Kapamilya network surely wants the support of the Kimerald loyal fans who always expressed disappointment if Gerald and Kim Chiu are being linked to other celebrities. Jewel is hoping the fans will get to respect and support her as Gerald's new TV leading lady. She tells Push: "Sana eventually mawala 'yung mga ganun at matanggap rin nila 'yung tambalan namin ni Gerald. Malaking tulong na rin nila 'yun sa akin dahil nagsisimula pa lang ako. I promise na ibibigay ko 'yung best." Good or bad publicity, it will be still favorable to Jewel because many will now know and feel her existence. When she was in GMA-7, her name and presence rarely being noticed despite being linked to Richard Gutierrez. Jewel Mische signed a 2-year contract with ABS-CBN last December 8.
