Regis Philbin retiring from 'Live with Regis and Kelly!' (Video)

TV host Regis Philbin felt that he had a long joyful run of entertaining people and now it's time to retire from his morning talk show, "Live with Regis and Kelly", announced on Tuesday morning (January 18)

Regis said, "It's been a long time, it's been 28 years since I've been here. And it was the biggest thrill of my life." and joked, "There is a time that everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people."

His co-host Kelly Ripa said, "I think I can only speak for America and all of us here when I say it has been a pleasure and a privilege and a dream come true. And I wish I could do something to change your mind."

Regis will be turning 80 in August and the date of his retirement is not set yet.

Philbin was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as holding the most on-air television hours ever, 16,100 hours.

At that age, it just right to enjoy and relax but many will surely miss him!

'Red' Sequel In The Works

Summit Entertainment gave the go signal to brothers Erich and Jon Hoeber to pen the sequel for the hit action-comedy film "Red".

Even though screenwriters have been hired, THR reports that the second installment is not yet officially greenlit.

They must still sign back Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren.

With the $58 million budget range, "Red" grossed $90 million domestically and with worldwide total of over $164 million.

Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban is feeling the intense in the latest poster for the horror comedy "Bulong", first movie offering for 2011 from Star Cinema.

Bulong tells the story of a nurse (Vhong Navarro) who is desperate to get noticed by the girl of his dreams (Bangs Garcia). The nurse seeks the help of a paranormal expert (Angelica Panganiban) who tells him to whisper his wish to the dead. He gets what he asked for, but his actions lead to complicated and mysterious incidents.

Other cast includes Bangs Garcia, Angie Ferro, Jon Avila, Eda Nolan, Joy Viado, Ruben Gonzaga, Manuel Aquino, Teddy Corpuz and many more..

This film is directed by Chito Roño and it hit the theaters on February 2, 2011.

Anne Hathaway as Lesbian Aunt on 'Glee' guest role

Actress Anne Hathaway got her wish to appear in the hit musical series "Glee" with her self-designed character role.

The 28-year-old actress will be playing the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer's character, Kurt.

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy confirmed it and the deal happened during Golden Globe Awards show, he reveals:

"She walked by our table and we have a mutual friend and I said, 'Do you really want to do it?' And she said, 'I do.' And I said, 'OK, we're gonna do it.'"

"I think we'll do it probably in a month and a half or so… I have to talk to Anne about what she wants to sing. I'm sure she has ideas," he said. "I'm excited about that."

Meanwhile, "Glee" won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series (Comedy or Musical) while Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch won Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.

ABS-CBN premieres a modern day adaptation of Cinderella with a twist in the hit Korean romantic-drama "Cinderella's Sister".

"Meet Zaren (Moon Geun Young), a girl who grew apathetic towards life because she was raised by a mother who is always relying on her man. Her whole life changes when her mom finally found the right person to marry and takes her to her stepfather's house.

Her new life may be luxurious but Zaren feels everything in her new home doesn't fit her. Things get even more complicated when her new stepsister Briana (Seo Woo), who is the apple of her father's eye and loved by almost everyone, enters the picture.

Conflict brews between the two as Zaren competes for the affection and care she never felt growing up and does anything she can to stop Briana from getting the one that she completely owned— her mom.

Briana has no intention of taking away Zaren's mom from her and even tries to reach out to Zaren so that they can be real sisters. Will she feel the same way though if her prince charming Timothy (Chun Jung Myung) has his heart set on Zaren?"

January Jones & Jason Sudeikis call it quits

The romance between actress January Jones and SNL's Jason Sudeikis in which started last year has ended.

The dating couple called it quits and according to People, long-distance thing failed to work.

"They've been on and off for a few months and then the long distance kind of ended it," the source said. "But they could get back together. It was just hard to stay together with the distance."

It seems her daring low-cut red Versace dress during the recently concluded Golden Globe Awards is her statement of saying she's one hot lady in which Sudeikis will be missing and now she's available.
