Witnessing the world collapsed in this latest teaser and poster for Jonathan Liebesman's alien invasion flick "Battle: Los Angeles" (also known as World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles).
For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world - Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's greatest cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It's up to a Marine Staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they've ever encountered before.

'Black Eyed Peas' apl.de.ap to perform for EDSA 1 People Power revolution 25th year anniversary

"Black Eyed Peas" member apl.de.ap will be flying back to Philippines to join other Filipino celebrities to celebrate EDSA 1 People Power Revolution 25th year anniversary on February 25.

The event is dubbed as "Tatak Edsa 25" and it will be hosted by Ogie Alcasid and TV host/Presidential Sister Kris Aquino.

apl.de.ap will be performing at the event and according to Kris, hew will be doing 1hr. set.

Kris Tweeted, "Apl de Ap is flying in to perform specially for the event. Doing a 1 hr set! Winner!"

The Filipino-American singer is known for his love and commitment in promoting great things about his homeland Philippines.



 


'Narnia' Executive Producer/Novelist Perry Moore Found Dead

Perry Moore, the executive producer of the 'Chronicles of Narnia' trilogy, was found dead in his W. Houston St. home on Thursday (February 17).


According to NY Post, his partner Hunter Hill found his body at the bathroom around 9:30 am and immediately called the paramedics but he was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived. OxyContin overdose is the initial result of the investigation.

The producer's father, Bill Moore says, "He was set to do some mighty good things. Parents are not meant to bury their children."

Moore and his partner Hunter Hill wrote and directed the 2008 "Lake City" starring Sissy Spacek and Rebecca Romijn. The 39 year-old Moore also wrote the young adult novel "Hero," about a gay superhero rejected by his teammates.
