'Playboy' Hugh Hefner & Crystal Harris' Sets a Wedding Date!

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who is now engaged to his 24 year-old girlfriend/December 2009 Playmate Crystal Harris, has officially announced the date of his last journey to a married life!

Hefner tweeted, "It's official: Crystal & I will be married on Saturday, June 18 at the Playboy Mansion. Happy days!"
Talking about the upcoming wedding, the 84-year-old media mogul also shared to Usmag, "It will be intimate with a close number of friends here at the mansion. No big blowout affair. Something very personal.

This will be the third marriage for Hefner. He and his second wife, former Playmate Kimberly Conrad separated in 1998 and filed for divorce in 2009. Hef's first ride is with Mildred Williams but decided to divorced in 1959.

Judge to Lindsay Lohan: Plea deal equals Jail time

Judge Keith Schwartz gave a straight forward warning to actress Lindsay Lohan that accepting the plea bargain deal for felony grand theft is also equals to jail time. The plea deal will be an admission that she indeed violated her probation.


The judge tells her bluntly, "I don't care that you're Lindsay Lohan, what I look at is what are the charges."

Deputy D.A. Danette Meyers reportedly wants six months jail time if Lindsay's camp accepts the deal. Lindsay's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley definitely knows that her client will not agree with the deal with jail time... Trial is the way to go..

If Lindsay goes to trial and convicted --- she's facing 1 year in state prison.

Lohan was accused of stealing a "high-end necklace" from a jewelry store last January.

 Lindsay can only do is to strike a deal with a less jail time. They want her head to roll.

Alicia Mayer is Drop Dead Gorgeous in New PETA Ad

Filipina actor Alicia Mayer has "bared" the truth behind the cruel meat industry in more ways than one. That's because Mayer didn't pull any punches when she agreed to shoot a brand-new pro-vegetarian ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia. In the ad, Mayer is lying completely naked—seemingly lifeless—on a steel table and next to the caption "Meat Belongs in the Morgue, Not on Your Table. Go Vegetarian!" The stunning ad was shot by ace photographer Raymund Isaac for Portfolio Studio and takes direct aim at the meat industry.


"I'm challenging Filipinos to really think about what 'meat' is," says Mayer. "Eating flesh means eating the corpse of a tortured animal who did not want to die. I'm encouraging kind consumers to give vegetarianism a try."

Mayer gained widespread adoration for her part in the cast of the comedy show Lagot Ka … Isusumbong Kita and for her roles on the soap opera Saang Sulok ng Langit and First Time. She has played the role of Rhea on the Filipino-Malaysian soap opera Muli; served as one of the hosts of Eat Bulaga, the longest-running noontime variety show in Philippine TV history; and graced the cover of FHM magazine.

Animals who are raised and killed for meat, dairy products, and eggs endure immeasurable cruelty and are denied everything that is natural and important to them. More than 750 million animals are slaughtered for their flesh every year in the Philippines. On factory farms, cows, pigs, and chickens are kept in crowded, filthy enclosures, which are often so small that the animals are unable to lie down comfortably. Many animals are forced to stand amid their own urine and feces.

Cows are routinely branded, dehorned, and castrated without being given any painkillers. Pigs are castrated, and their tails and teeth are cut or broken off—also without any pain relief. Chickens are drugged and bred to grow such unnaturally large upper bodies that their legs often become crippled under their own weight. Birds' throats are cut while they are still conscious, and many birds are scalded to death in defeathering tanks.

In addition to being cruelty-free, a diet that excludes meat, eggs, and dairy products can lower the risk of heart disease (one of the Philippines' top killers), cancer, strokes, diabetes, obesity, and acne in adults as well as allergies, ear infections, and juvenile-onset diabetes in children. Ninety percent of Filipinos are lactose-intolerant, and avoiding dairy products can help people's bodies work more efficiently. Numerous physicians and nutritionists agree that the best way to prevent heart disease as well as multiple other conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, and cancer, is to eat a diet high in fiber, including plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. A healthy vegetarian diet can also help anyone stay slim.

The production of meat and dairy products also contaminates the water and soil with animal waste. Worldwide, farmed animals produce 13 billion metric tons of excrement a year—that's 48 times as much as the world's human population produces. Each day, animal agriculture consumes 2.5 trillion liters of water—enough for every person in the world to take eight showers.

Animal grazing has been responsible for loss of topsoil and eventual desertification in many parts of the world. The animals destroy the land's protective vegetation. Then wind removes the soil and converts formerly productive rangeland into desert. Forest lands in China and South America are being destroyed to clear space for grazing or to grow food for farmed animals.

A recent United Nations report concluded that a global shift toward a vegan diet is necessary to combat the worst effects of climate change.

"The evidence is clear," says Jason Baker, PETA Asia's vice president of international operations. "The best thing that people can do for animals, the planet, and themselves is go vegetarian."

Mayer joins a host of international stars—including Pamela Anderson, Natalie Portman, Sir Paul McCartney, Maggie Q, and Barbie Hsu—who have kicked the meat habit.

Christina Applegate being a Mom: 'The Best Thing That's Ever Happened To Me'

Actress Christina Applegate, who is now busy being a first time mom, shared her emotional and "profound" experience of giving birth to her daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble during her guesting at "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday (February 22).


The 39 year-old actress revealed that she's in labor for 18 hours.
"It was profound. It was profound pain. And then that happens (pointing to photo of daughter). Just that moment, pulling her out and I dropped my gown which I don't do. This part of my body is very private to me [her chest]…that's a real private place. A place that I don't have a good relationship with, let's say. But at that moment of pulling her out and I just tore that thing [gown] off. There's a room full of people that I don't know. Nurses and doctors. And she and I just laid there. It was the best thing that's ever happened to me."
Applegate is engaged to Sadie Grace's father/musician Martyn LeNoble. Their keeping the wedding plans under wraps.

Chris Brown: Restraining order against him Modified!; Can now contact Rihanna

Chris Brown's good behavior earned him more freedom to be near ex-girlfriend Rihanna. The restraining order against Brown was modified on Tuesday (Feb. 22) by Judge Patricia Schnegg.


Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra told the court the his client does not object in changing the restraining order.
"I have spoken with my client, and she does not object to it being modified to a level one order."
The new order will now permit Brown to be near Rihanna but still he must not annoy, molest or do any kind of harassment to her.

Chris Brown is still under five year probation and 180 days of community service. He already completed a court-ordered 52-week domestic violence course.

Chris pleaded guilty in the domestic violent incident involving his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in Feb 2009.

More blessings for the 10-year-old Filipino-Canadian Maria Aragon as her wish to appear in "The Ellen Degeneres Show" became a reality.


The young singer became an instant YouTube sensation after singing her rendition of "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga was deeply touched and amazed with her performance and with just a single tweet from her, the uploaded video by Aragon became viral.

Ellen asked Maria Aragon on why she chose to do a cover of  "Born This Way"? 
Aragon answered, "Because of the meaning of the song. It has a great meaning. It's about just being yourself because God made who you are and you're no different than anybody else."

Alyssa Milano Is Pregnant!

Future baby routine for actress Alyssa Milano and her husband Dave Bugliari as they are now expecting their first child together.

A friend tells People, "They're just over the moon. They are so excited."

The 38 year-old actress also confirmed the great news via twitter:
"Yes, it's true. And we couldn't be happier. Thank you for your warm wishes and love!"
The Charmed actress and Bugliari, who's an agent at a Creative Arts Agency, got engaged December 18, 2008 and got married in August 15, 2009 in New Jersey.

TV5 takes part in the nation's history by going full force on the coverage of the grand 25th celebration of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution via a star-studded event titled Tatak EDSA 25: Pilipino Ako. Ako ang Lakas ng Pagbabago.


A spectacular and poignant show that will be open to the public, Tatak EDSA 25 will be held on February 25, 7:30pm-10:00pm along White Plains Avenue, Quezon City. An exclusive telecast of the event will air on TV5 from 10:00pm-12:00mn.

By providing an extensive coverage and full telecast of the historic event, TV5 helps encourage unity and nation building, which the commemoration of the touching moments of the 1986 People Power hopes to spark among Filipinos.
