Mel Gibson's Plea Deal: No Jail Time Posted: 09 Mar 2011 05:19 PM PST Mel Gibson can now focus in something else after reaching a plea deal with LA prosecutors in his domestic violence case with Oksana Grigorieva. The plea deal involves no jail time! Mel will plead no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge in which the court will ordered him to undergo counseling and a probation period. Mel's lawyer, Blair Berk, released this statement: "I know from almost 20 years as a criminal defense lawyer that sometimes justice can come for a client at too high a personal price. That is particularly so for Mel, whose right to due process can only be exercised in this case with an enormous media circus attached."  Berk goes on, "Mel's priority throughout all of this has been that the best interests of his young daughter Lucia and the rest of his children be put first in any decisions made. It is with only that in mind that he asked me to approach the District Attorney with a proposal that would bring all of this to an immediate end." Mel can now close this chapter in his life.. No more nasty court battles. Mel must also thanked Charlie Sheen because the media attention shifted away from him. They will be introducing a new gun-toting action lady! GK Films has signed on for the reboot and they want to bring the adventure  by 2013. Angelina Jolie, who worked on the two Tomb Raider movies, will no longer join the adventure. The new reboot installment will feature a "young and dynamic Lara Croft" -- a story which will tell Lara Croft's origin. Pete Wentz wants Joint Physical Custody Of Son Bronx Posted: 08 Mar 2011 08:34 PM PST Custody battle is now on!!  Pete Wentz filed papers to a Los Angeles court seeking for joint primary and legal custody of his son in response to his wife Ashlee Simpson's divorce petition. Pete's response is opposite with Ashlee's intentions of seeking primary physical custody filed last February 9. Wentz also requests for both parties to pay their own attorney fees. The couple started dating in 2006 and tied the knot in May of 2008, and welcomed their first child in November of the same year, Bronx Mowgli Wentz (Age 2). In this series, Erich will play the character of María, a scavenger who will fall in love with a rich guy, Luis Fernando (Enchong). "Maria la del Barrio" was originally aired in 1995 to 1996. Former Alice in Chains rocker Mike Starr found dead! Posted: 08 Mar 2011 06:22 PM PST Former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr, who joined the reality TV show "Celebrity Rehab 3" in 2009 for drug problems, was found dead in a Salt Lake City house on Tuesday afternoon (March 8). The cause of death is still unknown. He was 44. Despite his treatment for heroin addiction, Starr failed to fight his demons. He was arrested last month in Salt Lake City on felony possession of a controlled substance (six Xanax pills and six tablets of the painkiller Opana). Charlie Sheen's new target: Jon Cryer is a "Traitor and Troll” Posted: 08 Mar 2011 05:22 PM PST The rambling continues.... Charlie Sheen got a new target in mind beside the show's creator Chuck Lorre. He is now attacking his former "Two And a Half Men" buddy, actor Jon Cryer, who he described as a traitor and a troll! Warner Bros. fired Charlie Sheen for committing felony offenses involving moral turpitude. The 45 year-old actor says, "Jon has not called me. He's a turncoat, a traitor, a troll. … Is it going to take me calling him a 'traitor, juvenile and scared' for him to get it?" If Cryer will now talk to him? Sheen says, "What's there to say? I'll tell him, 'You're a little late. Goodbye, troll." Continues the actor, "When I'm starring in multimillion-dollar films and he's begging me for a supporting role, I'll say, 'You left me out in the cold with all of your guilt and stupidity.'" The "unemployed winner" shared that the only people who are "not trolls" are Angus T. Jones, Conchata Ferrell, Melanie Lynskey, Marin Hinkle, and director James Widdoes because all of them called him.
