'The Expendables 2' release date Announced!

The sequel to Sylvester Stallone's action hit 'The Expendables' will continue and the release date for the second installment is now set for August 17, 2012.


Lionsgate is reportedly still looking for the right director for the sequel. Stallone previously expressed that he is very much interested in signing Bruce Willis again to be the super villain.

The first Expendables reached a worldwide gross of $274,468,52 on a budget of $80 million.

Katie Couric Leaving CBS Evening News

Katie Couric will be signing off in CBS Evening News after five years to pursue a new project in hosting her own syndicated show after her contract expires on June 4, 2011.


The veteran journalist hasn't officially quit CBS but Katie thinks she fell short in providing new things due to some restraints as an anchor in CBS Evening News.
Katie says, "I would have given people what they were used to, a traditional newscast. And then as they got to know me and got more comfortable, then I would've started toying with the format and trying new things. I think we were overly ambitious. We probably would have been better off playing it a little safer."
She is now in talks with different networks and she plans to start the syndicated show in September of 2012.
