Pokwang and Melai Cantiveros tackles one of the sad truth about the emotional issues in adoption for the upcoming April 9 episode of "Maalaala Mo Kaya"!

Pokwang plays the role of Carol, who was given away by her mother when she was still a baby. History repeats itself when she's also forced to give up her own son because of her financial situation. The fact that Carol knows how it feels to have no family makes it more difficult for her to get over her guilt and longing for her child. Until one day, she finds herself taking care of a baby girl named Bronchelle. Will Carol finally find peace in her life?

This episode is directed by Veronica Velasco and it airs saturday april 9 after Wansapanataym on ABS-CBN.

Drea de Matteo welcomes baby boy Waylon Albert

Former Desperate Housewives/Sopranos actress Drea de Matteo and Shooter Jennings welcomed their new bundle from heaven, baby boy Waylon Albert!

The 38 year-old actress tweeted Thursday (April 7), Waylon Albert "Blackjack" Jennings has arrived folks!" and added, "Thanks for all the kind words folks! We're super lucky to have so many kind friends!"

"Blackjack" will now joined big sister Alabama Gypsyrose.

Bravo cancels “The Real Housewives of D.C.”

No more second season for "The Real Housewives of D.C." after it failed to capture the viewers interest --- Bravo decided to junk the show...

Andy Cohen, Bravo's executive vice president, has confirmed that the network canceled the program.

"We had an amazing season and we told stories that were unique to any other in the franchise. I wish all our DC Wives the best and hope to work with them again in another capacity," Cohen said. "I wish all our D.C. wives the best and hope to work with them again in another capacity."

D.C. debut in August last year and it was the fifth series of the franchise to air on Bravo. Other versions : Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Miami and Beverly Hills.

The "D.C." downfall is also due to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" emerging popularity which deliver more intriguing set up.

The cancellation of D.C. marks the first time a Housewives series failed to enter second season.

Iza Calzado replacing Regine Velasquez in "I ♥ You Pare" series; GMA Network's statement on 'I Heart You Pare'

Actress Iza Calzado is replacing Regine Velasquez in GMA-7's comedy primetime series "I ♥ You Pare" due to health reasons.

The doctors advice Regine to take a temporary break from work after she complained about her "severe migraine attacks". The singer/actress is also rumored to be pregnant but still no confirmation yet.

Nais pong ipaalam ng GMA Entertainment Television na ang role na "Tonette o Tonya" sa hit series na I HEART YOU PARE ay gagampanan na ni Ms. Iza Calzado simula ngayong Lunes, April 11.

Pinayuhan ng kanyang doctor si Ms. Regine Velasquez na pansamantalang magpahinga ng husto dahil sa 'severe migraine attacks' niya na maaaring dala ng puyat at pagod sa taping. Pinasiyahan ng Network na ibigay kay Regine ang nararapat na pahinga para sa kanyang agarang paggaling.

Puno ang tiwala ng Kapuso Network sa kakayahan ni Iza na ipagpatuloy at gampanan ang karakter na iiwanan ni Regine at lubos ang pasasalamat ng management sa buong-pusong pagtanggap niya dito.

Iniimbitahan ang mga taga-subaybay ng"I HEART YOU PARE na abangan ang mga masasayang eksena nina Iza at Dingdong Dantes sa mga susunod na episode.

Ang I HEART YOU PARE ay isang orihinal na konsepto ng Kapuso Network at tuluy-tuloy na magbibigay-saya sa mga manonood gabi-gabi.

Iza is now a member of the "Dabarkads" of the noontime show "Eat Bulaga" and she's preparing for a new sitcom titled "Andres de Saya" opposite Cesar Montano.

Shocker: Pia Toscano is out!; “I’ll Stand By You”/“River Deep Mountain High” American Idol 10

Many seems deeply affected with the result show last night as Pia Toscano was voted off from "American Idol" season 10. Even the judges expressed their disappointment with the voting public.

AI judge Jennifer Lopez was very upset, saying: "I have no idea what just happened here. I'm shocked. I'm angry." Randy Jackson added, "This makes me mad".

Some celebrities are also scratching their heads and expressed their opinion via twitter.

Ashton Kutcher: "Who are the people that vote on American Idol? That's just crazy! That Pia girl is dope."

AI host Ryan Seacrest:: "After we went off air no one in audience left their seat, everyone was in shock. Judges walked on stage to talk to her. @JLo was emotional…

Alyssa Milano: "@PToscanoAI10 Keep your head up, beauty girl. You're an awesome talent."

Snooki: "Pia should have won the whole thing! I'm not watchin Idol anuymore. I'm with JLO on this one"

Jessica Alba: "Who's mad about Pia? I think she's got a promising career ahead of her. Girl can sing her butt off and she's stunning."

Also in the bottom 3 are Jacob Lusk and Stefano Langone. Both this guys are also in their way out --- it's just a matter of time. 22 year-old Pia got lots of potential -- Vocally, she got it.. The only thing is, she must develop more charm on stage.
