Crowd favorite -- Shamcey Supsup from General Santos City was crowned Binibining Pilipinas "Universe" in the just concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2011 Grand Coronation Night held at the Araneta Coliseum (April 10).


Binibining Pilipinas International 2011 goes to Dianne Elaine Necio from Albay while Isabella Manjon from Pasig City took the crown for Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2011.

Runner-Up: 1st Runner Up: Janine Tugonon, 2nd Runner Up: Mary Jean Lastimosa

Karina Smirnoff not in Trouble over Playboy Magazine

Dancing With The Stars' Karina Smirnoff is parading his heavenly asset in the May 2011 issue of Playboy Magazine and with that, it was reported that she's in trouble with DWTS bosses.

Contrary to the rumors, Smirnoff's decision to strip off her clothes is not shocking news because she already gave her bosses an early heads up in which they gave also their approval.
A source close to the show says, "They did know ahead of time and they still gave her one of the best pairings."
Karina is now paired with original Karate Kid star Ralph Macchio.

Liam Neeson's cameo role was cut from 'The Hangover Part 2"

It's a well publicized issue when they axed Mel Gibson's cameo appearance in the upcoming comedy sequel "The Hangover 2" in which he was later  replaced by Liam Neeson.

It seems the "Unknown" actor , who plays Bangkok tattoo artist in the upcoming film also received the cut and reportedly, the actor replacing Liam for the role is Nick Cassavetes.


"The Hangover 2″ director Todd Phillips explained:
While editing, Phillips chose to cut the scene that immediately followed Neeson's cameo, meaning it no longer had the information necessary to logically get the Wolf Pack (Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms) to what became the next scene.

Three weeks ago, Phillips decided to reshoot the scene, but with Neeson in London shooting WB's "Clash of the Titans" sequel, the actor was no longer available.

"We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part," Phillips wrote. "He came in and crushed it and that is the scene that you will ultimately see in the film. [I'm excited for everyone] to see the film. It turned out great."

The also difference between Mel and Liam is that no one objected and felt unhappy from the cast not like with Gibson's cameo appearance.

It seems Todd Phillips is very much challenge in producing a great and sure hit sequel.

Nicole Richie: "I Am Not Pregnant"!

Enough is enough! Nicole Richie breaks her silence and she wants to set the record straight --- Not pregnant, contrary to recent rumors.


The mother of two released a statement about the preggy issues:
"Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant. This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity. To publicly point out a change in anyone's body is mean spirited and cruel. People's bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues."
Nicole Richie is just living a healthy lifestyle and gaining weight is a good thing for her if you will compared it to her scary skinny body when she's still single.

Harlow Winter and Sparrow James will be enjoying each other's company at this moment.

NFL's Peyton Manning Welcomes Twins!

Twin blessings for Indianapolis Colts star, Peyton Manning, and his wife, Ashley Manning as they welcomed their baby twins in Indiana last month (March 31): baby boy Marshall Williams Manning and baby girl Mosley Thompson Manning.


They kept the baby news under the radar because they wants to maintained their privacy. A family source confirmed, "It is true, it is happy news for them."

Meanwhile, Peyton's brother, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and wife Abby McGrew also welcomed their first child last Monday, March 21. The couple's named their baby girl Ava Frances Manning.
