Here are some quotes from Amanda: What happened to you when you first got into this business? I ended up getting really sick. I became obsessed with losing weight. I was thin but it was never thin enough and I just wasn't enjoying it. I was being told I was too big by people who didn't even care about me. I wasn't happy so my parents sort of said, "That's it." Are you happy with your figure now? I'm very happy with my size right now. There's pressure to get bigger [as a plus size model], but I'm just going to be who I am. Maria Menounos Brings the Quote of the Day Posted: 07 Apr 2011 09:11 AM PDT My days can be really busy, so when I grab a snack, I want it to work as hard as I am. I want it to give me energy, fill me up [and] fuel my body. I like to grab veggies, like baby carrots or a handful of almonds. I also look for snacks that are high in protein and fat free, like Greek yogurt, which has two times the protein of regular yogurt to help satisfy hunger. Blueberries and apples are amazing, too.
