Kirstie Alley: Im a Size 8 | celebrity quotes

Kirstie Alley brings our debatable quote of the day:

"I started out Dancing with the Stars in a size 12, then an 8, and then I think next week I'll be in a 6. The real size I want to be in is probably a 4 or a 6. That's where I look best."

… says Kirstie.

Demi Lovato: ‘I was compulsively overeating when I was 8 years old’

Demi Lovato: I was compulsively overeating when I was 8 years old | beauty body image

A few days ago, we listened to 18 year-old Demi’s touching story on her eating disorder – see the highly liked post here! Today, Demi is back with more information about the reasons that caused her ed problems (via MTV):

“I’ve spoken openly about being bullied throughout the past few years, but one thing that I’ve never been able to feel comfortable talking about was the effects that it had on my life afterwards. I literally didn’t know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, ‘Well, you’re fat.’

“I developed an eating disorder, and that’s kind of what I’ve been dealing with ever since. I was compulsively overeating when I was 8 years old. So, I guess, for the past 10 years, I’ve had a really unhealthy relationship with food.”

… says Demi.

Jessica Simpson Is the ‘Style Icon of the Year’

Jessica Simpson Is the Style Icon of the Year | body type clothes

Jessica Simpson was just named ‘Style Icon of the Year’ by Us Weekly, partly because of her successful clothing line and partly due to her personal style. Here’s what Jessica tells us about how to dress her body shape:

High-waisted jeans are a risk for me – I'm short! They don't work unless I'm wearing major platforms and something flattering up top, but not a high collar. If I don't show my collarbone, I skew uni-boob. We have some high-waisted jeans coming out that I might try. But it does make me sweat, I have to say! My curves are a challenge. I have to be more conscious of what I'm wearing so I don't look like a complete tool.

… says Jessica.

What do you think of their stylish pick?
