Now it appears speeds are picking up quickly with sources indicating that 20th Century Fox and Imagine Entertainment hope to begin production by next spring when star Kiefer Sutherland becomes available. The studio is expecting a script from screenwriter Mark Bomback by the end of the year, and they've reportedly narrowed down their director search to five possible (and currently unnamed) candidates.
