| Demi Moore: Seeking Professional Assistance; Hospitalized for Substance abuse Posted: 25 Jan 2012 04:29 PM PST  Demi Moore will now be getting professional help after she was hospitalized Monday night for substance abuse and exhaustion. Sources tell TMZ that one of Demi's friends who was at her home told emergency workers Demi was doing whip-its. A whip-it is a street name for a type of nitrous oxide. It appears Demi had symptoms of a seizure -- after inhaling the nitrous. Her rep. released a statement about her status, saying, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends." Moore is slowly moving on after her split from her 33-year-old husband of six years Ashton Kutcher.
