Metallica Says ‘Save The Date’ But For What? Posted: 03 Feb 2012 06:06 PM PST Metallica has posted a video to their official YouTube page simply titled "Save The Date." The 30-second teaser video mentions how we've seen Metallica play festivals all over the world and then displays the names of the various festivals they've participated in, like Download and Rock In Rio. But, apparently, whatever is in store for them next, it'll be new to us and the announcement will come in a few days. You've seen them at festivals across the world But you've never seen them... The video ends by telling us to tune in Tuesday, February 7 at 11AM PST. But, what will the big announcement be? [...] |

Posted: 03 Feb 2012 04:06 PM PST Jackass 3 Netflix Streaming DVD | Blu-Ray Directed by Jeff Tremaine Starring Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, Wee Man, Mike Judge Paramount Pictures Originally Released: October 15, 2010 More than once I questioned why the hell I was viewing Jackass 3. Of course I'm familiar with the television series, though I've never really identified myself as being a part of the cult fan-base of the Jackass collective. Having said that though, Jackass 3 is a humorous detour from the usual suspects to be found on Netflix Streaming, with some excellent cinematography in places – though be warned: there are many numerous scenes with intent to disgust [...] |

‘Insidious’ Is Getting A Sequel Posted: 03 Feb 2012 01:00 PM PST If there was one movie of 2011 that absolutely kicked my ass as both a film and a surprise, it was Insidious. Probably the biggest shock of last year's SXSW Film Festival, Insidious was helmed by James Wan and penned by Leigh Whannell, best known for the Saw franchise, and was a brilliant little gem of a haunted house thriller. And now, according to THR, it appears as though we'll be heading back into that world [...] |
Posted: 03 Feb 2012 11:00 AM PST Hoax Hunters #0 Story by Michael Moreci and Steve Seeley Art by JM Ringuet Inks by John Lucas Cover by Steve Seeley Image Comics Release Date: March 21, 2012 Cover Price: $2.99 There's a lot to be said about Hoax Hunters. I could easily fall into the comparrison trap. You know, the one where the guys in the comic book store says "It's Buffy meets Scooby-Doo meets Mad Men!", but I'm not a big fan of that. Things need to be judged and sold on their own merit. That said, this comic does take a few modern day pop culture staples, and turns them on their ears. Writers Steve Seeley and Michael Moreci have taken something that I normally would gloss over on the comic racks and turned it into something that I can't wait to read. Without going too deep into spoiler territory, the Hoax Hunters are a group that goes out and investigates, let's just say, suspicious activities. [...] |
‘Short Circuit’ Remake Gets A New Writer Posted: 03 Feb 2012 10:00 AM PST Over the past few years, one remake has seemed to stand above the rest as the perfect example of Hollywood's creative death. That would be the long-gestating remake of the cult classic, Short Circuit. Coming Soon reports that Matt Lieberman will pen a new draft of the film's screenplay, which will be helmed by Tim Hill. Dimension Films has the project, and have been touting their success with Spy Kids and that franchise, so we know just what to expect here [...] |

New ‘Hunger Games’ Trailer Hits Posted: 03 Feb 2012 07:00 AM PST With The Hunger Games nearing its debut in just a few short weeks, a new trailer has finally hit, and I must say, it's kind of looking interesting. Watch it here below.
