Studios Release Date: January 25, 2012 Cover Price: $3.99 At the center of Too Much Coffee Man #2 Facsimile Edition our hero faces off in a grueling gauntlet for survival against an exciting new villain to the bitter end. But, really, that's not what's important at all. This is BOOM! Studios reprint of the original issues of Shannon Wheeler's cult classic which helped define small press early 90s comix, TMCM is a frumpy protagonist who's drive involves coffee, loafing around, and not much else, while his nemesis is a Liefeld-parody named Cliche, and they throw old fashioned truisms at each other along with punches and bullets. It's silly, enjoyable, and knows when to wrap up [...] |

Posted: 07 Feb 2012 03:00 PM PST Key of Z #4 Written by Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert Art by Aaron Kuder Colors by Charlie Kirchoff Letters by Johnny Lowe Cover by Nathan Fox and Jeromy Cox Evil Ink Comics/Boom! Studios Release Date: January 25, 2012 Cover Price: $3.99 I've read a lot of zombie-themed comic books, but I can honestly say that I've never read one quite like Key of Z, and I'm going to tell you right now, from the first issue to the last issue, this series is fantastic. I've been following the creation of the series since 2010 when creators Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert first announced that they would be working on a zombie comic that would take place in New York City and encompass a lot of specifics from the area under the working title Subway Seriez, which is still used as the subtitle for Key of Z, as evidenced by the cover of issue three [...] |

Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo Re-Team For ‘Machete Kills’ Posted: 07 Feb 2012 12:00 PM PST Looks like the wrong Mexican is about to fucked with again. It was nearly two years ago when fiercely independent filmmaker Robert Rodriguez turned his fake Grindhouse trailer Machete into a full-blown feature film top-loaded with gratuitous female nudity, gleefully gory comic book action, and an absurd all-star cast including Robert DeNiro, Don Johnson, Lindsay Lohan, and Cheech Marin. The entire concept of Machete was built around legendary tough guy character actor Danny Trejo, who reprised the title role that has elevated him to the status of an action icon in Rodriguez's 2010 B-movie epic that grossed $44 million globally from a $10.5 million budget and did excellent business on DVD and Blu-ray [...] |

Watch This Rare Old Indiana Jones Nutella Commercial Posted: 07 Feb 2012 10:00 AM PST Would you want Nutella if you knew Indiana Jones desperately desired it, so much so he'd risk his life for it? Well, that's what the makers of the chocolate-hazelnut spread hoped when they came up with a commercial showing Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones risking death by booby-trap in order to steal not the golden idol, but rather a jar of Nutella. The rare old commercial, which was put on the European VHS edition of Raiders of the Lost Ark, is now online thanks to Canadian cartoonist and videographer Paul Covello, who unloaded this gem to YouTube. Watch the commercial here below [...] |

Update: Harrison Ford Not Aboard ‘Blade Runner’ Reboot? Posted: 07 Feb 2012 07:00 AM PST Hold on to your horses guys, don't count your eggs before they hatch, apparently. Over the weekend, rumors arose connecting none other than Harrison Ford to the upcoming remake/reboot of his classic Ridley Scott film, Blade Runner. Scott is once again directing this film, so while the rumor seemed valid, one couldn't help but think that the volatile relationship between the two would keep this from actually happening. And now, that appears to actually be the case. Deadline reports that Alcon Entertainment has debunked the rumor, one that literally lit the internet ablaze during Super Bowl weekend, basically stating that "there has been no discussion about it."
