‘Ouija’ Movie Back On At Universal After $95 Million Budget Cut Posted: 05 Mar 2012 06:09 PM PST Yes, you read that correctly: after finding a way to trim around $95 million from its projected budget, Universal Pictures is once again ready to make a movie based on Hasbro's popular otherworldly communication device, the Ouija board. Universal made a huge deal with Hasbro a while back that would see them turning many toys and board games into movies, but due to exceedingly large budgets the studio ultimately decided to shelf multiple projects including Ouija, which would have cost them an estimated $100 million to make. ‘Back To The Future’ Hoverboard Replica Available Soon Posted: 05 Mar 2012 04:00 PM PST MattyCollector has one of the sweetest pre-orders of all time going on right now with the first release of a replica hoverboard from the seminal 1980's trilogy of films Back To The Future. Now, I know what you're thinking, but while I doubt it's ability to be a fully functioning hoverboard that hovers and moves like a skateboard, unless it's on water (you need power for that), it is without a doubt one of the raddest replicas for any film memorabilia collector. Book Review: Star Trek: The Rings of Time Posted: 05 Mar 2012 01:00 PM PST Star Trek: The Rings of Time The Original Series By Greg Cox Paperback | Kindle Simon and Schuster | Pocket Books Release date: January 31, 2012 Star Trek: The Rings of Time brings together several things that I love: the original Star Trek series, the Space Program, and the planet Saturn. The book begins in the year 2020 with the crew of the U.S.S Lewis & Clark preparing to make the first manned mission to the planet Saturn. Heading up the 21st century mission to Saturn is NASA astronaut Colonel Shaun Christopher aboard the U.S.S. Lewis & Clark. If you're a fan of the original Trek series, then you might recall that surname as one of importance. Captain John Christopher, Shaun's father, was a U.S. Air Force pilot who had a brush with the U.S.S. Enterprise after the ship went through a time warp that brought them to the late 1960s in the episode Tomorrow Is Yesterday [...] |

Then came Wild Wild West. Ever since, Big Willie has been continuing to rack up the blockbusters while attempting to dominate different seasons that don't involve millions of people suddenly deciding to go to the beach. This summer, Smith is mounting an offensive to reclaim his summer movie king throne with the belated sequel Men in Black 3. Today, a full theatrical trailer has been released. You can watch it here below [...] |

‘Community’ Animated Promotional Shorts Premiering Online This Week Posted: 05 Mar 2012 08:01 AM PST Community is coming back to television in less than two weeks. It's about time. For so long I've missed hanging out in the halls and on the grounds of Greendale Community College with Jeff and the gang. It's been three months since the show went on hiatus and a lot has happened in that time. Dean Pelton even won an Oscar. Truly amazing. NBC is rolling out the red carpet, or rather raising the Greendale butt flag (E Pluribus Anus), for Community's return by releasing a three-part series of animated promotional shorts this week, with each short to premiere over three consecutive days [...] |
