| Robin Gibb Passes Away; He was 62 Posted: 20 May 2012 08:22 PM PDT  Robin Gibb of the 'Bee Gees' has passed away after his battle against the Big C on Sunday (May 20). He was 62 years-old. The legendary musician was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer. Last month, he was hospitalized due to pneumonia. Issued statement via his website: "The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery.
