Jessica Simpson: “Oh my God, what happened to my body… this is not me” Posted: 31 May 2012 02:49 PM PDT Jessica Simpson gave birth exactly one month ago – and as expected, she just confirmed that she will be losing the baby weight with Weight Watchers and opened up to People Magazine about her new figure and goals: ‘After you have your baby it’s like, “Oh my God, what happened to my body… this is not me. It would be nice to feel comfortable in a bikini, but that’s not my goal. I just want to fit into jeans.’ More info from Us Weekly: Weigh to go, Jessica Simpson! In November 2011, Us Weekly exclusively reported that Simpson was negotiating a $4 million deal to get her pre-baby body back, and now she's finally confirmed the news via Twitter. "So excited to be part of the Weight Watchers family," Simpson, 31, shared Wednesday. She elaborated via Facebook later in the day: "The cool thing about the program is that it focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then, too). I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me." The 5-foot-3 star is hoping to lose her baby weight within the year, according to sources close to the new mom. "As soon as Jessica heals from the C-section, she is extremely determined to get back in the gym and work out," said one confidant. "She wants to show the world and is excited to do it." Simpson — mom to Maxwell Drew, 4 weeks, with fiance Eric Johnson, 32 — "hasn't chosen a trainer yet," a pal said. "In fact, she hasn't even thought about working out for a year.
