‘Dark Knight Rises’ Director Christopher Nolan Speaks Out About The Tragedy In Colorado Posted: 20 Jul 2012 07:03 PM PDT People from around the world have gotten word about the tragedy that has transpired yesterday at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, where 12 people lost their lives and dozens were wounded after a gunman opened fire during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises. Many have sent their condolences to their families. Even our Presidential candidates put a stop to their campaigns as a sign of respect to those who passed. It's important to know that these killings have nothing to do with The Dark Knight Rises. And I don't want to go into the psychology of a man who could do such an evil act, but it's comforting to know that people are putting aside their differences and coming together to comfort those who lost their loved ones. Now director Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan has responded to the mass murder in Colorado. This comes after the news that Warner Bros. would be cancelling the Paris Premiere of the film [...] |

Netflix Review: 11-11-11: The Prophecy Posted: 20 Jul 2012 01:00 PM PDT 11-11-11: The Prophecy Netflix Streaming DVD Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman Starring Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes, Wendy Glenn Big Air Studios Originally Released: November 11, 2011 Since I was 23, the time stamp of "4:44" keeps coming up and recurring in my life. I have no idea whether this has any relevance or not, but it's something I've noticed frequently, and as a result I often get attracted to stories surrounding the concept of meanings behind significant numerological synchronicities. 11-11-11: The Prophecy is one such film, and surveys this concept in greater detail than many other stories have. Written and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, best known for his contributions to the Saw series, 11-11-11 (not to be confused with the 'mockbuster' with the rip-off name of 11/11/11 -- the movie with the correct title uses dashes instead of slashes) explores in elaborate depth the nature of synchronicity, numerology, and its relation to imagery and prophecy. Svetlana Khodchenkova May Be Viper In James Mangold’s ‘The Wolverine’ Posted: 20 Jul 2012 12:00 PM PDT Just a week after it was announced that Jessica Biel was in talks to play Viper in James Mangold's The Wolverine, it was announced that she was no longer in talks to play as the venomous character. That left another empty spot on the casting list, and with Mangold ready to start production, the search for a replacement began. But the search is now over again, because Svetlana Khodchenkova is in talks to play as Viper. According to sources, even though negotiations are being held it's expected that the deal will be completed very soon. [...] |
