In that launch title for the new monthly book we learned why she decided to change her name and we got a glimpse of her past. All the news was of course about her new do - hairdo and costume, that is. The new design is quite a change from the Ms. Marvel that has been in The Avengers for the last few years. Captain Marvel #2 promises to ramp up the action with the new Captain facing a challenge from her past as well as a new threat called the Banshee Squadron.
