More Iron Man Anime On The Way With ‘Iron Man: Rise of Technovore’ Posted: 08 Oct 2012 03:55 PM PDT Love it or hate it, there's more anime coming to the Marvel universe as Marvel and Sony Pictures Entertainment have announced Iron Man: Rise of Technovore, a feature-length film slated for release on DVD in Spring 2013. The story will be written by Brandon Auman, who previously worked on Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Iron Man Armored Adventures. The film is produced by Madhouse. Iron Man: Rise of Technovore focuses on a confrontation between Iron Man and Ezekiel Stane, who develops new bio-technology that apparently outclasses the Iron Man armor. After Stane commits a terrorist attack and sets Tony up to take the fall, Iron Man must evade S.H.I.E.L.D. and find a way to clear his name [...] |
Posted: 08 Oct 2012 01:30 PM PDT Toy Story was Pixar's first full length feature. It has since then spawned two successful sequels and three hilarious animated shorts (Small Fry, Hawaiian Vacation, and Partysaurus Rex). Whether or not there will be a fourth one remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure, we will continue to see these characters through a variety of shorts in the future. We recently saw Rex star in his own short called Partysaurus Rex. However, if you weren't able to see the short, which was attached to Finding Nemo 3D, you will get another chance to see it tonight when the Disney Channel debuts the short at 10:05 PM. To get a sense of what to expect in the short, click here to watch a small clip. In a Toy Story-related story, we will get to see the gang reunite once more for a holiday-themed TV special called, Toy Story of Terror, which is set for release in 2013. Pixar Times reports that the TV film will feature the Toys taking shelter in a dark roadside motel. When one of the toys goes missing, the gang forms a search party to find the missing. But one by one they start to disappear, and they must find each other or else they will stay missing forever. According to them, the TV special will run about 22 minutes. [...] |

Emily Blunt & Ruth Wilson Courted For Ms. Marvel In ‘The Avengers 2?’ Posted: 08 Oct 2012 09:42 AM PDT If there is one thing we shouldn't be hearing about now, it's the casting of vital roles in The Avengers 2. For one thing, it still way too early for anything like that to happen. But the Daily Mail, a source notoriously for concocting unsubstantiated rumors, reports that Marvel is courting Emily Blunt (Looper, The Wolfman, The Adjustment Bureau) and Ruth Wilson (Alice Morgan on BBC TV's Luther). for the coveted role of Ms. Marvel - a character that is unconfirmed for the sequel. It wouldn't surprise me – or anyone else for that matter – that Joss Whedon would include a strong female character like Ms. Marvel in The Avengers 2, but until we get some hard evidence from let's say, the people making The Avengers 2, we will just have to consider that this casting possibility is just a rumor [...] |
