‘Oblivion’ Poster: Tom Cruise Stands Alone On A Forgotten Earth Posted: 09 Dec 2012 10:31 AM PST Universal Pictures has unveiled the first poster for Joseph Kosinski's Oblivion. In the film, Tom Cruise plays a drone repairman stationed on a future Earth which has since transformed into a desolate planet. When a pod carrying a mysterious woman crash lands near one of his work sites, the encounter causes Cruise's character to question everything he knows about the world around him. Check out the poster for the film here below. Looking at the poster for Oblivion we can see that Earth is clearly not what it once was. We don't know how Earth got to this point, but it looks like a lot of things have changed as there are towering waterfalls that share the skies with skyscrapers that now act as relics [...] |
Spike VGAs 2012: ‘The Phantom Pain’ Trailer; Is It Really ‘Metal Gear Solid 5′? Posted: 09 Dec 2012 07:00 AM PST A strange cinematic trailer was shown at the 2012 Spike Video Game Awards for a game called The Phantom Pain. No one had ever heard of it, but it had a distinct Hideo Kojima feel to it, leading many to believe that the game is actually Metal Gear Solid V. Back in September we saw a 14-minute gameplay demo for a game described as being a Metal Gear Solid V prologue titled Ground Zeroes, so it was assumed that MGSV was not too far behind. [...] |
