Re-Imagining Wool: Ramblers Way

Re Imagining Wool: Ramblers Way | general

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way Farm. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I first heard that of Ramblers Next-to-Skin Women's Scoop Neck was coming my way, I was excited to see if it would fit on my "Things I Can Wear Every Day, Whether It's Hot, Whether It's Cold" list. My love for morning walks in the park which is perfectly placed right outside my door, shopping passion and my addiction to drinking tea by the sea on chilly evenings keep me outdoors quite a lot, sometimes from morning till night.

I opened the package and discovered the smoothest, softest top, with a delicately scooped neckline and an organic, natural vibe that I immediately loved. Soft, smooth WOOL top. That's right: the top in the above picture (which I happily own) is made of the finest, chemical-free wool, which feels and looks so natural and cozy-comfortable and I absolutely love its ivory shade! My favorite thing about the top is that besides being quite versatile (and I would have never thought wool could be versatile) and “working” both on a hot day and on a chilly night is that it looks so… clean, ‘unprocessed’ (in the beautiful, natural, rustic-way) and organic.

Ramblers Way Next-to-Skin Women's Scoop Neck top is actually made of superfine 18.5 micron Rambouillet wool, which can keep you cool and warm at the same time. And even better: this natural fiber repels odors (so you don't need to wash it every other day) and wicks away moisture, so it will give you a "just got it out of the dryer" kind of feel. You can wear it as it is and go for a simple casual style, or you can go layer-crazy and add shirts, jackets or vests on top! The eco-friendly Ramblers Way products actually managed to re-imagine wool and convinced me to do the same: wool can be very soft and smooth, versatile and perfect for all types of weather!

Christina Hendricks: Thank you for letting me be me | beauty body image

Christina Hendricks is in Health Magazine this month, where she talks about food, gaining weight and celebrating and maintaining her curves. Here are some interesting parts from the interview:

Q: Many women have said they consider your body one they admire or want the most. What do you think of all that body love?
A: Really? They don't say Jessica Alba? 'Cause that's what I say! [Laughs.] It's such a compliment, because of all those times I had agents who were like, "You have to lose some weight," and all of a sudden, people are celebrating it. It's like: "Oh, thank you! Thank you for letting me be me."

Q: What is your best advice for reaching total body confidence? Do you have it?
A: I guess my mom raised me right. She was very celebratory of her body. I never heard her once say, "I feel fat." Back when I was modeling, the first time I went to Italy I was having cappuccinos every day, and I gained 15 pounds. And I felt gorgeous! I would take my clothes off in front of the mirror and be like, Oh, I look like a woman. And I felt beautiful, and I never tried to lose it, 'cause I loved it. [Laughs.]

Q: Mad Men is all about having vices. Do you have any?
A: I like salty, creamy foods. I could sit down with a bag of chips and French onion dip and go to town! That would be on my last-supper list. But I discovered that dry French onion soup mix in nonfat yogurt tastes just as good. It really does!

Shocked my system with a vegan diet, special Pu-erh tea from China, and cupping since friday! Who am I right now? This might be too clean!

Has anyone ever tried cupping? When u know you are doing something good for ur body the meditation creates intense visions. Love it!
