Last week, Christopher Nolan's Inception, which starred Leonardo Dicaprio was bumped on the top spot at the box office after reigning supreme for four weeks by the buddy-cop film The Other Guys. But the comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg will have to try hard to stay on their spot as they will face three new releases this week. Set to debut are The Expendables with an all star cast, Eat, Pray, Love which stars America's sweetheart Julia Roberts, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World with Michael Cera.

Box office previews has it that The Expendables will claim the top spot with $32.3 million despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. The R-rated movie will open in more than 3,200 theaters throughout the North America territory. Bruce Willis and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger also agreed to appear on the film. It will pay homage to old-school action movies with hard-hitting fighting scenes and lots of ear-piercing explosions.

Eat, Pray, Love will take the second place with a predicted $24.5 million in its opening weekend. Julia Roberts will play the American author Elizabeth Gilbert. It is based on the best-selling 2006 memoir by Gilbert. At the age of 32, Gilbert was feeling depressed with her marriage, crying almost every night, so she started an affair. But things didn't go so well either. She then filed for divorce and ended her affair. In search of finding more about herself, she traveled around the world trying to enjoy what life has to offer. The cast also include Javier Bardem, james Franco, Billy Crudup, and Viola Davis.

Slipping to the third spot is action comedy The Other Guys with $18.3 million. The film also has an all star cast which includes Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, Damon Wayans, Jr., Brooke Shields, Rosie Perez, Derek Jeter, Tracy Morgan, Anne Heche, and narrated by Ice-T.

Debuting in fourth is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World with $17.6 million. The superhero movie has an estimated budget of $60 million. It is the big screen adaptation of the comic book series Scott Pilgrim by Bryan Lee O'Malley. Juno's Michael Cera will play Scott Pilgrim who has to battle the League of Evil Exes in order to win the heart of the girl of his dream.
