Leighton Meester Talks Beauty and Fitness Posted: 11 Aug 2010 03:43 PM PDT Since Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester has a slim figure that’s envied by many and a pretty face admired by most, let’s get to know the star’s thoughts on beauty and being fit: On her beauty regime: “As far as beauty goes, I never wear makeup when I'm not working. Very rarely I'll put on a little bit of concealer here and there and maybe some red lipstick just to make it look like I made the effort – it does wonders.” On her beauty icon: “I really love Julianne Moore for having fair skin and a really beautiful smile. I love Cate Blanchett because she glows from within. And I love how Helen Mirren has aged so gracefully. She's gorgeous and quite sexy.” (We’ve seen her naked sexiness!) On what she does to keep fit and healthy: “Exercise is fun when it doesn't feel like exercise. Teri Hatcher Gave Up Botox and Posted the Pictures to Prove It Posted: 11 Aug 2010 03:22 PM PDT 45 year-old Teri Hatcher is determined to prove that she doesn’t use Botox, implants or other modern enhancements – so she decided to post a few makeup-less pictures of herself on her Facebook page. The words that accompany her ‘mad, confused, sad and tired’ pictures: "Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, [it's] no surgery, no implants… no matter what 'they' say. Decided I'd shoot myself in to reveal some truths about "beauty" and hope it makes you all easier on yourself. Did I every toy with fillers or Botox over the years? Yes. Tell me does this look Botoxed to you? Yes I am alone in my bathroom naked in a towel on behalf of women everywhere trying to make a point. Women YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. I can be mad, or confused, or sad and tired. Julia Roberts had that same vein in her forehead in Eat Pray Love. Proud of Julia for being a real woman on a real journey." Teri also gives us a few tips on how to look our best in photos: "Just me wanting to teach that all those glam versus trash pictures of celebs are about LIGHTING. It's not makeup, it's not surgery or Botox…. Flat front light in your face, especially sun setting [or] 4pm light blows out all wrinkles and imperfections. Overhead light [and] sun… casts shadows under your eye from your brow, making you look tired.
