Jake Gyllenhaal will jump from identity to identity to prevent a catastrophe in Duncan Jones' sci-fi action-thriller "Source Code" 

When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the "Source Code," a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack. Filled with mind-boggling twists and heart-pounding suspense. 
 Other cast includes Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, Jeffrey Wright, Russell Peters, James A. Woods, Michael Arden, Derek Frost and Cas Anvar.

This suspense adventure which kind of like "Groundhog Day" meets "Déjà vu" will hit the theaters on April 15, 2011.

Bruno Mars struggles as he drags a piano throughout the streets of LA in his latest video for his hit single "Grenade."

Mars explained about music video, "The concept of the video is my struggle, to tell his girl I'd do anything for her, so I'm going as far as dragging a piano to get to her just so I can sing my heart out."

This single is from his debut studio album "Doo-Wops & Hooligans".

Rihanna Turns Down Playboy Offers

Rihanna knows that she is still on top of her game and despite her sexy outfit don't expect her that she will go nude anytime soon. The good things is, she's not closing her door in posing naked for a glossy men's magazine.

Rihanna shared at 'The Angie Martinez Show' that she received several offers to pose for Playboy but has turned them all down. She will take it off in a "classy way."
"I got a few offers to do Playboy actually. They want to pay [me] to be naked on the cover," she said.
"If I'm gonna take my clothes off, it has to be in a classy way and my will, not a check. I wouldn't take any money to do that."
Many are surely interested to see her doing that gig and like her music, it will be definitely a hit!

DMX arrested again for probation violation

Nothing new! DMX is on headline and once again behind bars! He was arrested Thursday night (November 18) in Maricopa County in Arizona for a probation violation.  

MyFoxPhoenix reports that he was arrested for not following the terms of his probation, including checking in with his probation officer.
Court documents allege that he violated probation by using cocaine and OxyContin without a prescription, failing to submit to drug testing, driving on a suspended license, and failing to participate in counseling programs.
DMX (real name: Earl Simmons) was on parole after an assault conviction. Probation revocation hearing is set on November 24. He is currently being held without bond.

2010 MMFF: "Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" Trailer & Poster

Star Cinema has released the official poster and the latest trailer for the upcoming holiday comedy "Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" starring Ai-Ai de las Alas as she reprise her role as Ina Montecillo.


"Ang Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na 'To" is the 3rd installment of the" Tanging Ina" film franchise and probably the last. It is also the official entry for 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Originals cast will be back that includes Eugene Domingo, Marvin Agustin, Nikki Valdez, Carlo Aquino, Alwyn Uytingco, Shaina Magdayao, Marc Acueza, Serena Dalrymple, Jiro Manio, Yuuki Kadooka, Janella and Bianca Calma but sadly to say Heart Evangelista failed to join the film. The grandchildren will be played by Owie Boy Gapuz and Xyriel Anne Manabat.

Directed by Wenn V. Deramas and it will hit the theaters December 25, 2010.

2010 MMFF: Kris Aquino "Dalaw" - Poster and Trailer

TV host/actress Kris Aquino is headlining again another horror-thriller flick entitled "Dalaw" opposite  Diether Ocampo. [Checkout the official poster and Trailer below]

This film is the official entry of Star Cinema and CineMedia for the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival. 

Joining the suspense are Alessandra De Rossi, Karylle, Susan Africa, Empress, Gina Pareño and Bernard Palanca.

Directed by Dondon Santos and it will hit the theaters on December 25!

Cory Monteith 'Might Do Construction' after acting career

Actor Cory Monteith is receiving too much attention for his role as Finn on Fox's hit show "Glee" and he knows that anything can happen. He see himself going into construction after her showbiz career.

He told Usmag, "I might do construction. I really enjoyed that. It's very tangible, and you're outside all day. It's good fun!" But, is it as fun as singing and dancing in front of the cameras, is the real question.

Cory gave an idea to aspiring actors, "If you're an aspiring actor and you want a good character study, you should be a taxi driver for a while -- you see a lot of characters".

It seems it's still long way to go. Opportunities are surely knocking on his doorstep.

Tony Parker has also filed his own divorce petition in Texas

San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker has also filed his own divorce petition against Eva Longoria in Texas.

According to TMZ, Tony's divorce petition was filed in Bexar County, Texas. The stamp shows today's date (November 19).
Using the initials W.P and E.P. in his divorce papers, Tony states the reason for the divorce: "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationships and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
When the split broke out, the NBA star denies that he's the one initiated the divorce but Tony said in a statement that their "discussing our situation privately".

Eva Longoria filed divorce petition in Los Angeles, CA. The papers state "irreconcilable differences" and she's asking for spousal support. She also wants to restored her name to Eva Jacqueline Longoria.

Court ordered Wesley Snipes to Serve 3 Years in Prison

Wesley Snipes is now headed to a federal prison to begin serving a three-year prison sentence for tax-related crime.

Snipes has been appealing for more than two years for his cases but this time, Ocala, Fl. Judge William Terrell rejected for a new trial.
Terrell said, "The defendant Snipes had a fair trial; he has had a full, fair and thorough review of his conviction and sentence. ... The time has come for the judgment to be enforced."
The "Blade" actor found guilty on tax evasion charges (three misdemeanor charges) in 2008.
