Kimberley Walsh: I do train, but its only so I can eat more! | celebrity quotes | weight quote diet

“There’s been a few stories this week stating that I’m trying to lose two stone before Christmas and I don’t eat anything but fruit after midday. It’s all nonsense!

I’m comfortable with the size I am. I do train a few times a week, but it’s only so I can eat more! I don’t want people to believe what they’re reading – it’s a negative thing to be putting out to young girls and I don’t want to be part of it.”

… says Girls Aloud’s Kimberley in a recent statement, as a response to various tabloids that claimed that the star was on a strict diet.

Heidi Klums Advice on Aging: Don't be too thin! | celebrity quotes |

Supermodel Heidi Klum has a piece of advice for you:

"The ultimate beauty secret for a woman getting older is, Don't be too thin! It is always better to have a little meat on your bones. When you are just muscle, you end up being gaunt in the face, and that makes you look older by 5 or 10 years."

… says Heidi in Self Magazine.

Jessica Alba Brings the Quote of the Day

Jessica Alba Brings the Quote of the Day | beauty body image |

From Elle:

Her low point was when her director told her she was ugly when she cried: "I wanted to stop acting," Alba says. "I hated it. I really hated it." Actually, it was the lack of acting she hated. "I remember when I was dying in Silver Surfer," she says, referring to the 2007 Fantastic Four sequel in which she plays a woman who alternates between being invisible and wearing a spandex catsuit. "The director was like, 'It looks too real. It looks too painful. Can you be prettier when you cry? Cry pretty, Jessica.' He was like, 'Don't do that thing with your face. Just make it flat. We can CGI the tears in.' And I'm like, But there's no connection to a human being. And then it all got me thinking: Am I not good enough? Are my instincts and my emotions not good enough? Do people hate them so much that they don't want me to be a person? Am I not allowed to be a person in my work? And so I just said, 'F-ck it. I don't care about this business anymore.'"

… says Jessica.
