Arnold Schwarzenegger: Being the Governor Cost Him $200 million

Posted: 16 Jan 2011 06:59 PM PST

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger wants you to know that he sacrifice many things during his term -- hundreds of millions of dollar!

In his interview with Austria's Krone newspaper (via THR), Schwarzenegger reveals that it cost him $200 million in lost wages and expenses. He thinks that it was "more than worth it".

For him the biggest downside wasn't the lost cash but the things happened to his family. Schwarzenegger admits, "What was much worse was the damage my time as governor did to the family. There is a lot there that needs to be repaired."

Arnold's approval ratings suffered while in office as he failed to solved one of the worst budget crises in California history.
