Red Riding Hood Trailer looks Awesome!

So my girlfriend yesterday was searching for something to watch online and while searching for the latest movies or even the upcoming ones, she happened to watch trailers of upcoming movies namely, Beastly, Red Riding Hood 2011 trailer and Rango. Looking at her, enjoying herself watching those trailers, I had to join to see what she’s watching and why she seems to enjoy it a lot.

Since I am into fairy tales when I was still a little boy, I opted to watch Red Riding Hood movie trailer first. The video starts off with the logo of Warner Bros. and followed by the famous red coat of Red Riding Hood dragging on the ground filled with snow. Amanda Seyfried, the actress playing the role of Red came into view together with a man and viewers will instantly know that they too are in love with each other. The few seconds of the romantic scene was ended by a wolf growl from a distance that surprised the lovers. The scene then changed to a girl lying on the ground where people whispers of the girl being killed by a wolf.

Wait… lovers? Wolf? Girl killed by a wolf? That doesn’t sound like “Little Red Riding Hood” right? That is so true but hey, I like this version better! If you are expecting to see a children’s fairy tale with this movie then you are in for a big disappointment. The Red Riding Hood trailer alone shows just how different this movie is from the original tale. With the direction of Catherine Hardwicke, I was not so surprise that the trailer alone has the feel of “Twilight” since the director of the two movies are the same. Although I was able to read on some sites that Twilight fans are not quite happy on the comparison of their fave movie and with Red Riding Hood.

Since I am not a big Twifan, I totally enjoyed the full trailer eventhough it was just a few minutes long. Amanda Seyfried looks red hot and perfect to play the role. Shiloh Fernandez and Max Irons plays the roles of the two guys fighting for the love of Red are so right for their parts. The trailer is action-packed, full of mystery and intrigue. One will be hanging, thinking who is the wolf among the villagers. So don’t forget to Watch Red Riding Hood 2011 Online for free on this site very soon.
