| Kim Kardashian scores "Drop Dead Diva" gig Posted: 28 Jan 2012 10:01 PM PST  Kim Kardashian landed an acting gig as signed a multi-episode deal for a role on the fourth season of the Lifetime hit Drop Dead Diva Kardashian will play the character Nikki, Fred's (Ben Feldman) new love interest. To make it complicated, she will going into business with his ex, Stacy (April Bowlby). "I'm ecstatic to welcome Kim to the Diva family," creator and executive producer Josh Berman tells Us Weekly in a statement. "In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I'm blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I'm so excited to see Kim 'reinvented' in the world of Drop Dead Diva." | So You Think You Can Dance Choreographer Alex Da Silva Sentenced to 10 years in prison Posted: 28 Jan 2012 08:35 PM PST  The court sentenced former So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Alex Da Silva 10 years in prison for raping a 22-year-old dance student and assaulting another (January 27). Alex Da Silva was arrested for multiple sexual assaults that happened between May 2003 and March 28, 2009. The victims were aspiring dancers between the ages of 20 and 26. The jury found him guilty on one count of rape and one count of assault with intent to commit rape. The other charges were dismissed. Da Silva will be required to register as a sex offender.
