Pregnant Jessica Simpson Gained 40 Pounds, Was 170 Lbs When She Posed Naked Posted: 29 Mar 2012 04:57 AM PDT Tweet Jessica Simpson, who will give birth in a month, recently told the press that she gained 40 lbs / 18 kg during her pregnancy up until this point. 3 months ago, when the blonde beauty posed naked for Elle Magazine, she was at 170 pounds / 77 kg at 5’3” / 160 cm. More details from NY Daily News: “I had a great pregnancy. Eating and not having to worry too much about it has been fun. Taking a break from working out has definitely been fun. But I’m ready for it to be over. I’m ready to have my body back!” she told the magazine, adding that she’s since gained 40 pounds. Jessica also recently discussed her headline-making photo shoot for Elle magazine, in which the mom-to-be posed nude and pregnant on the April cover. “They didn’t even ask me to do that,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show. “It was my idea. It kind of just seemed a natural thing for me to do. I’m like 170 pounds and I wanted to pose nude.” “It’s funny to be at your heaviest and feel the most confident," she said. "I just take such pride in being a mom! I just love my body more than ever now."
