This year for the first time in many years the contest has been changed. The new contest is all about comic book characters of all sorts. The winner of the epic battle this year was a truly amazing Hawkgirl who had hand-made giant wings. There were many other fantastic heroes and villains to behold too though. | 14-Minute Gameplay Demo For ‘Metal Gear Solid 5′ Prologue ‘Ground Zeroes’ Released Posted: 02 Sep 2012 01:49 PM PDT  Video game legend Hideo Kojima was on hand at the PAX 2012 convention recently to talk about his Metal Gear Solid franchise. Kojima didn't announce the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 5 fans were hoping for, but he did announce that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which is in fact a prologue to MGS 5. He then showed off Ground Zeroes, which uses his brand new Fox Engine. A 14-minute video of the gameplay demo has now been released online, and can be seen below. [...]      |
| ‘Lawrence Of Arabia’ Re-release Trailer: A Chance To Revisit Peter O’Toole’s Greatest Role Ever Posted: 02 Sep 2012 12:18 PM PDT  I'm sure that there are many films that people wish they could have watched on the big screen, but couldn't do so because they missed the theatrical run or they just weren't born when it was released. I put myself in the category of "wasn't born when it was released" for David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia, starring Peter O' Toole as the titular character. I remember watching that movie in junior high school, and now it seems like I will get my chance to watch it on the big screen when it will be released in a 4K restoration presentation later this Fall. Now there is a trailer to display that glory. Check it out here below. | Blizzard Releases World of Warcraft Patch 5.04; New Talent System and Account-Wide Features Posted: 02 Sep 2012 07:00 AM PDT  With the newest World of Warcraft expansion, Mists of Pandaria set to launch on September 25th, Blizzard Entertainment released Patch 5.04 this Tuesday. This patch paves the way for Pandaria. The new Talent System overhaul has been implemented, and it is a world of difference from any previous talent system that World of Warcraft has had. Out are the days of cookie-cutter, set-in-stone builds and in are the days of flexible builds. Also new, changing a talent can be done on-the-fly. This means character builds can be modified mid-raid or mid-PvP battle, allowing for quick strategic changes depending upon what the situation may call for [...]      |
