Venus Raj can regain her crown, if…

Posted: 10 Apr 2010 03:39 PM PDT

Dethroned 2010 Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Maria Venus Raj was given a chance to regain her title in one condition.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) stated that their decision is due to "humanitarian reasons" and they are willing to reverse the decision if Venus Raj would be able to secure "a valid Philippine passport."

It seems the organizers are in damage control mode after many people shows public support to the said beauty queen and they don't want this issue to blow out of proportion.

Last month, Venus' Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title was stripped off after they found inconsistencies between her personal account of her birth and birth certificate records.
