Klotchyn, everyone!

It's Gribling Day, which means it won't be long before Frabjous Day arrives, and when that day comes, you'd be gallymoggers not to do the Futterwacken, of course.

If you have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, that means you've yet to take the trip to Underland, the magical world in Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, out today on Blu-ray/DVD Combo, Blu-ray, and DVD.

For the uninitiated, we have here below The Glossary Of Underland to help get you ready for your viewing of Alice In Wonderland. Just scroll through the pages below or click the page to open in full-screen to see the Underland terms and their meanings.

And remember, Downal-Wyth-Bluddy-Behg-Hid! [...]

‘Green Lantern’ Official Synopsis Released

Posted: 31 May 2010 10:00 PM PDT

Evening geeks,

Rumors have been circulating recently concerning the plot for the upcoming Green Lantern film starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan. Now, an updated and official synopsis for film has been released.

In a press release posted by Comic Book Movie, the official synopsis for the film provides some key plot points and directs to a villain that I don't think any of us thought Warner Brothers would go for.

I think it's safe to say that we all thought we'd basically see the origin story of Hal Jordan and maybe a similar plot line to that of Green Lantern: First Flight, but I think we're getting an entirely different animal.

I'm a fan of Green Lantern, but as usual I try not to get excited about comic book movies, but after this news, I'm definitely looking forward to this film and all of its sequels.

Spoilers abound, so click the jump for all of the details [...]

Comic Review: The Amory Wars: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Issue #1

The Amory Wars: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
Creator: Claudio Sanchez
Writers: Claudio Sanchez & Peter David
Artist: Chris Burnham
Boom! Studios
Release date: May 26, 2010

You had me from "Hello Apollo, where should I begin."

Pardon me while I fanboy...

First, I'd like to state that I am, indeed, a huge fan of Coheed and Cambria, and their album In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 (henceforth to be referred to as IKSSE:3), so it's pretty much a given that I will love this comic book if it stays anywhere near what the album did for me.

Coheed and Cambria, the band, has a series of five albums, each telling an integral part to an overall science fiction story about the destruction of these characters' universe (The Keywork) and the rise of its rightful hero, Claudio Kilgannon. All of this is done through the glory of prog rock. There have been previous interpretations of Coheed's work including a novel adaptation of the first chapter, Year of the Black Rainbow, and an original graphic novel based on Chapter IV: Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star: IV, which is now considered out of continuity. But IKSSE:3 picks up from the latest comic interpretation of Chapter II: The Second Stage Turbine Blade. I've keep up with pretty much all of this, so I was definitely excited for the release of this story [...]

Watch Now: ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World’ Theatrical Trailer

Posted: 31 May 2010 07:46 AM PDT

The full-length trailer for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World has been released online.

Watch it here below!

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the trailer for this film, which is based on the graphic novel by Bryan Lee O'Malley. A few days ago, the film's director Edgar Wright posted to his Twitter page that when the film's official Facebook page reached 100,000 fans, they would release the trailer -- an ambitious goal for sure, but early this morning, they hit the mark and up went the trailer!

In the film, Michael Cera stars as Scott Pilgrim, a 22-year-old bassist in a garage band who falls in love with new girl in town Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). Against the odds, Scott snags the girl, but soon learns that to be with her, he must defeat -- yes, as in fight! -- her seven evil exes. And it's no ordinary fight, as you'll see from the trailer [...]

Muppets Studios has released a new music video from The Muppets.

We've seen The Muppets cover Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" with great success; now, Sam the Eagle takes on The Guess Who's "American Woman" in tribute to Lady Liberty and the "great American pastime" karaoke.

Check out the video here below.

If you love The Muppets, then you already know what you're in for. Be sure to stick around til the end for more appearances and a revelation that shocks Sam the Eagle! [...]
