Mickey Rourke Set To Become The Iceman In Richard Kuklinksi Movie

Posted: 13 Sep 2010 06:42 PM PDT

Last August, we covered a story about the Iceman, Richard Kuklinski, one of the world's most infamous serial killers and mafia hitmen (Read: Best News Ever: Ice Man Richard Kuklinski Movie Delayed Due To Channing Tatum Casting Possibility). At the time, it was revealed that Philip Carlo, who authored the book The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer, was pulling out of his movie deal to adapt the book with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura because Bonaventura wanted to cast Channing Tatum to play Kuklinski.

This would have been one of the worst casting choices in the history of cinema, and everyone including Carlo seemed to know it, which led to the halt and retreat from further progress. At the time, Carlo made it known that his preference was for Mickey Rourke to take on the role, and though many of you felt actors like James Gandolfini or Tom Wilkinson would be best, it's now being reported that Rourke is indeed attached to star. Watch Now: M. Night Shyamalan Learns That No One Likes M. Night Shyamalan

Posted: 13 Sep 2010 01:11 PM PDT

It's no secret that the popularity of director M. Night Shyamalan has plummeted after his past few movies, but he has clearly not recognized the decline in quality or his fan base, as was made clear when a reporter recently asked him about it during a conference for his most recent film, The Last Airbender.

Since then, the next step down has come in the form of Devil, the new horror movie that Shyamalan isn't directing but is a producer on. Anyone who has seen the trailer for this movie running in theaters has shared stories of the crowd booing, laughing, and all-around reacting about as negatively as a filmmaker could fear a crowd's reaction to seeing something with their name attached to it.

Jumping on this wave of negative criticism, a new video has been created to spoof Shyamalan and the slow-yet-reluctant realization of his own dwindling fame. As you might expect, he stubbornly refuses to believe this could be happening to him and tries to figure out what evil forces could be behind it all, and the resulting parody is quite hilarious. Reviewing The Final Season of LOST is not the easiest thing to pull off. If you have any interest at all in this sixth and last season, then you've seen seasons one through five already (at least you better have!). And if you've seen seasons one through five, then you were most likely just as excited to inhale the sixth as everyone else, and already know exactly what you think of it!

That said, this final season was met with a battle of varying opinions. Most Lost faithfuls came to love the way things were wrapped up; some had difficulty warming up to it, myself included, but in the end it all found a way to work. On the other hand, there were a surprising amount of fans who were enraged by what they saw, unfortunately. [...]
