'Naked Gun' Actor Leslie Nielsen Died! He was 84.

Veteran actor Leslie Nielsen, best known for his comedic roles as detective Frank Drebin in the "Naked Gun" series, "Dracula: Dead and Loving It" and "Airplane", has died due to pneumonia complications at a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale (Sunday, November 28). He was 84 years-old.

His family issued a statement: "We are saddened by the passing of beloved actor Leslie Nielsen, probably best remembered as Lt. Frank Drebin in 'The Naked Gun' series of pictures, but who enjoyed a more than 60 year career in motion pictures and television."
My brother always deliver a smile and a laugh every time he will see Leslie Nielsen in a photo or in his movies.

Targeting a new Pink Floyd Movie

Producer Andy Harries is eying to do a new movie around the Pink Floyd's iconic-controversial song "Another Brick In the Wall". 

Andy Harries, producer of The Queen and The Damned United, is planning a movie based around the Pink Floyd track Another Brick In the Wall. But it's not a remake of Alan Parker's Pink Floyd movie The Wall. Rather, it tells the true story of the schoolchildren who sang on the 1979 number one and their maverick music teacher. Harries tells me it's "Dead Poets Society meets School of Rock." He's optioned the life story of music teacher Alan Renshaw who arrived at a struggling north London comprehensive (public) school in the late 70s, determined to shake things up. -Deadline
Right casting will definitely pump up the interest!

Sexy Iya Villania is Tanduay Calendar Girl 2011 (Photos)

The conservative and stylish Iya Villania wonldn't go sexy before but now she's opening the year 2011 with a bang as she will surprise everybody with her sexy seductive poses for 2011 Tanduay Rhum 5 Years calendar.

It seems 2011 will be a big year for her as Iya is now making a big step as she transition herself to a mature-daring artist. With her decision doing this calendar project, the possibility is now high of Iya accepting offers and do a photo spread for a men's magazines.


Meanwhile, the VJ-actress made headlines recently about her transfer from ABS-CBN to GMA network but it seems her loyalty to ABS-CBN maintains and now she signed for another three years.

Also, Iya Villania and Jericho Rosales will host a new reality show entitled "I Dare You, The Kapamilya Challenge".

Previous Tanduay calendar girls include Ehra Madrigal (2008), Bangs Garcia (2009) and Nina Jose (2010).

ABS-CBN's "Shout Out" premieres November 29; Group members revealed!

Variety teen show is back in the afternoon TV block! The Kapamilya network will showcase the talents of their young fast rising stars via the daily variety program entitled "Shout Out!"

The show will be hosted by Erich Gonzales, Empress, Enchong Dee, Sam Concepcion, Robi Domingo, and Arron Villaflor.  They will be joined by the Pinoy Big Brother teens, Goin' Bulilit alums, and other Star Magic teen idols.

Four groups of 9 will be featured each day, Monday to Thursday, then a grand showdown of the 4 groups will happen every Friday.

Mondeerifics (Monday Group): Aria Clemente, Ann Li, Julia Montes, Jenny Kim, Tippy Dos Santos, Rhap Salazar, Patrick Sugui, Ryan Bang and Makisig Morales.

Tuesdelicious (Tuesday group): 3AM's Mica Caldito, James Torres and Kyle Amor, Emmanuelle Vera, Former Starstruck alumnus Piero Vergara, Imelda Taylor Smith, Inno Martin, Devon Seron and PBB Teen Big Winner James Reid.

Miyerkulitz (Wednesday Group): John Manalo, Kathryn Bernardo, Jane Oineza, Bret Jackson, Fretzie Bercede, Mikyla Ramirez, Miles Ocampo, Paul Salas and Sue Dodd.
