| Charice’s dad Ricky Pempengco to be buried Nov. 4 Posted: 02 Nov 2011 04:08 PM PDT  Ricky Pempengco, the father of former "Glee" star Charice Pempengco, will be laid to rest on Saturday afternoon (November 4) at Pasture of Heaven Memorial Park in Cabuyao, Laguna, according to the singer's manager. Charice's dad was a victim of a stabbing incident in San Pedro, Laguna Philippines on Monday (October 31) that resulted to his death. The said suspect is Angel Capili and now, authorities put on a total of P200,000 reward for any information leading to the suspect's arrest. Charice is still thankful to her father despite the short time they had spent together. Police created Task Force Pempengco to expedite the hunt against the suspect.

| Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 30 Days In Jail due to probation violation Posted: 02 Nov 2011 02:11 PM PDT  Actress Lindsay Lohan is once again headed back behind bars. The court sentenced her to 30 days jail time after not attending the court-mandated therapy sessions and being terminated in her community service at a downtown shelter. LiLo will continue to serve all of her community service at the L.A. County Morgue, and if once again she fail to follow the court order --- additional 270 days in jail. Judge Stephanie Sautner ordered Lindsay to complete required service schedule.
L.A. jail's overcrowding situation is giving Lindsay some break. She will serve 20 percent of the 30 days == 6 days. She report Lohan to the women's jail by Nov. 9.

| Zooey Deschanel & Husband Ben Gibbard: Amicable Break Up! Posted: 02 Nov 2011 09:35 AM PDT  "New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel and her husband, rocker Ben Gibbard mutually decided to go separate ways, ending their two-year marriage.

| Veteran Oscar producer Gilbert Cates, Dies at 77 Posted: 01 Nov 2011 06:39 PM PDT  Legendary producer Gilbert Cates, who produced a record 14 Academy Awards ceremonies, has sadly passed away at the age of 77. TMZ reports that, the producer's body "was discovered last night in a parking lot at UCLA. Emergency teams responded to a call on the campus around 5:50PM".Authorities is still investigating the cause of death. Gilbert is the founder and Dean of UCLA's School of Theater Film and Television from 1990 to 1998. He is the uncle of actress Phoebe Cates. Some of his movie credits that he worked on are "I Never Sang for My Father (1970", "Summer Wishes, Winter Dreams" (1973) and "The Last Married Couple in America" (1980). Gilbert Cates....R.I.P.
