Tom Hardy is a busy, busy man, with multiple projects on the horizon. His star grows bigger every day, and will no doubt reach even greater heights when his turn as Bane in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy-maker, The Dark Knight Rises, finally arrives.

But that's not stopping the British actor from locking up some projects for a little bit down the road, as well. Speaking to The Daily Mail, Hardy shared that he'll be starring in a movie titled Cicero, where he'll be playing a Prohibition-era Al Capone. [...]

‘The Devil Inside’ Director Heading Back To ‘The Vatican’

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 03:00 PM PST

You can't keep a horror film down, even if it's absolute trash.

Following the shockingly huge pull garnered by the turd sandwich that is The Devil Inside at this weekend's box office, its director, William Brent Bell, has found himself a brand new gig.

Deadline is reporting that the director will next shoot the thriller The Vatican for WB. The film, penned by David Cohen, will utilize some found footage stylistic choices, and at this point, that's literally all we know about the project [...]

NBC Says ‘Community’ Will Return

Community

Ever since the news hit back in November (which we reported on here) that NBC's Thursday night comedy series Community would not be returning to the network's mid-season line-up, the development has sent major shock waves throughout the online community, including many devoted (and now seriously pissed off) fans of the show.

The network's decision to pull Community until an indeterminate date created a groundswell of support for the show, leading some of the higher-ups at the Peacock to wonder if they had made a tragic mistake, and I mean a tragic mistake that makes 2009's Jay Leno Show fiasco look like a minor inconvenience. In a recent interview, the ratings-starved network's Entertainment President Robert Greenblatt said the show will return [...]

The Hobbit

There are movies that are going to hit in 2012, and then there is The Hobbit.

With the first part of the impending two-part saga set to bow late this year, we are slowly getting more and more information and, in this case, photos from the project, and while I'm not a real big fan of the franchise, it's almost impossible not to get excited for this sucker.

The USA Today has a new photo from the film, and while it's nothing more than Martin Freeman as Bilbo, anything from this sucker is worthy of note, let alone a rather nice-looking snapshot of our lead [...]

Megan Mullally Confirms ‘Party Down’ Movie

Posted: 09 Jan 2012 08:01 AM PST

Party Down

One of the many TV shows that have been canceled far too early and that fans have been fighting to see revived is the Starz comedy Party Down.

The hilarious show starred Ken Marino, Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Jane Lynch---who was then replaced by Megan Mullally after landing the role on Glee---as the employees of a catering company. It was also known for an endless supply of brilliant cameo performances from actors like J.K. Simmons, George Takei, and of course, Steve Guttenberg. [...]
