Stevie Nicks On NBC's Up All Night

On last week's episode of the NBC comedy Up All Night, TV producer Reagan (Christine Applegate) tells the Oprah-like daytime talk show host Ava (Maya Rudolph) that she's booked Stevie Nicks to perform on the show. The two ladies then hug and scream with excitement. As I was watching this, I was thinking, yeah, pretty much, I can see me and my girlfriends reacting the same way. I mean, c'mon, it's STEVIE NICKS!

You can watch the full episode of Up All Night, titled "Letting Go," here below, along with a video interview with Nicks, who talks about being a fan of Up All Night as well as of the actresses on the show, which is why she wanted to do the guest spot.

The episode is peppered with Nicks references and music, as well as several scenes with the artist, so if you're a fan of the Fleetwood Mac songstress, you'll LOVE this. Be sure to watch til the very end of the episode for an awesome sequence that I've dreamed of experiencing myself [...]

The Most Shocking Moments Of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 1

The vacant throne

This article only addresses events that happened during the first season of the HBO TV series Game Of Thrones, not how they were originally portrayed in the George R. R. Martin's series of novels, A Song of Ice and Fire.

Game of Thrones has delivered unto us a show that is as rich as it is complex, a fantasy show flush with blood, lust, and treachery. To say that the bar hasn't risen to unfairly high levels for the second season is an understatement, and saying that the show's propensity for the truly shocking has added to those great expectations is certainly another.

In advance of Sunday night's premiere of Season 2, we thought it best to highlight some of those shocking moments from Season 1; those scenes that made your jaw drop and your pulse quicken.

Warning: There are tons of spoilers beyond this point. [...]

The Avengers banner

Remember the Tronorail, Disney World's Tron-themed monorail that operated in the theme park back in 2010 as a promotion for Disney's Tron: Legacy? It caused quite the stir with some people outraged that Disney would put what they considered to be advertisements on the monorail.

Well, guess what? A new themed monorail is on the way to Disney World, this time for the Marvel Studios film The Avengers, according to the Disney Parks Blog. This Spring, one of the Magic Kingdom Park monorails will get an Avengers-themed makeover in time for the film's opening on May 4.

Will Ferrell

Earlier this week, we brought you the news that comedy superstar Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance on the late night talk show Conan as the character Ron Burgundy, the egotistical news anchor with a heart of gold and a brain of vanilla pudding he played in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. His appearance was to wow the audience with a jazz flute jam and to make the special announcement that a deal had been worked out with Paramount Pictures for a sequel to the 2004 hit comedy to finally move forward.

Funny or Die, the website Ferrell co-created with friend and frequent collaborator (and co-writer and director of Anchorman) Adam McKay, has posted a video chronicling the moments before and after Ferrell's Conan appearance. You can check it out here below [...]
