Skyrim Dragon Image

Whispers and wishes of a return to Morrowind as part of DLC content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been floating around, usually from the mouths of fans of the original Xbox game, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, who wanted to revisit the land with the updated graphics we have today.

Bethesda actually releasing DLC that allowed you to return to Morrowind, however, never seemed likely. But today comes a new rumor with a little bit of substance to it that seems to indicate that the dream is not so far-fetched. [...]

Ed Greenwood Presents Elminster's Forgotten Realms

Ed Greenwood Presents Elminster's Forgotten Realms
Hardcover
Written by Ed Greenwood and the Wizards RPG staff
Wizards of the Coast
Release Date: October 16, 2012

I remember the day the very first Forgotten Realms boxed reference set was released. It included not just game materials, but a really awesome map and a bit of background information to start your own campaigns. But never in a hundred years did I think I would ever see such an in depth look as Ed Greenwood Presents Elminster's Forgotten Realms. It really is a masterpiece of Ed Greenwood's imagination.

Taken from Greenwood's original notes from the late sixties, the Forgotten Realms were adapted in the seventies for game play with the original Dungeons & Dragons and finalized in the eighties for release with the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons game books. By far the most popular and well known of all the official settings, the Realms are packed with well developed and powerful non-player characters (known as NPCs). This tome gives us a plethora of formerly unknown information, thereby not just amplifying our collective knowledge of Faerun but also expanding the possibilities in a campaign setting [...]

Today's double-shot features a creature that gestates inside a living human host and has concentrated acid for blood, and gelatinous space aliens that have a penchant for snatching bodies. After the jump, I'll be discussing Ridley Scott's 1979 film, Alien, and Philip Kaufman's 1978 remake, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. [...]

Rupert Sanders

Universal looks like they are still trying to keep Rupert Sanders and Kristen Stewart separated before they can start up yet another tabloid firestorm. The studio has been offering the director other projects to tackle besides the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. One of those projects, a Van Helsing reboot starring Tom Cruise, did not take hold. But it seems that the studio has now found the right project for the director to take on.

Deadline reports that Sanders has been offered an adaptation of Alfred Bester's sci-fi tale The Juliet to direct. The site describes the script, written by Henry Bean (Basic Instinct 2), as a love story set in a near-futuristic science fiction landscape," and added that it's like "Bonnie and Clyde in space." [...]
