New Trailer For Peter Jackson’s West Memphis Three Movie ‘West Of Memphis’ Released

Peter Jackson's West Memphis Three Documentary

Back in 2011 it was revealed that Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong, and the upcoming Hobbit trilogy, was helping to finance investigations and forensic testing to prove the innocence of Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley, three men who were convicted of the murders of three young boys and came to be known as the West Memphis Three.

The trio spent nearly twenty years in prison for the crime before finally being released after DNA tests that couldn't be performed back then showed without a doubt that their conviction was very wrong, and that the real killer could still be out there walking around right now. [...]

The cast of director Wes Anderson's latest project, titled The Grand Budapest Hotel, is already impressive...as is often the case with his films. We've already heard about names like Bill Murray, Jude Law, Owen Wilson, Edward Norton and Angela Lansbury joining the cast, followed by word that Ralph Fiennes would also be involved.

Now a young up-and-coming star has also been cast. It's being reported that Oscar nominated Atonement and The Lovely Bones star Saoirse Ronan will play the female lead in the movie. [...]

Hitman: Absolution Image

The latest installment in the collection of Hitman: Absolution trailers that focus on various aspects of the game, is titled "Living, Breathing World."

In it, you'll look closer at the world that surrounds Agent 47 as he makes he way through his missions, as well as the people within it. Developer IO Interactive clearly did not want just a bunch of robotic people in their world, walking on rails from one side of the room to the other, saying the same thing over and over. And so they set out, ambitiously, to give their world real life. [...]

Hello There! This is Adam Frazier and you are listening to Skull-Face Island, the official movie podcast of Geeks of DOom! As always I'm joined by Rosemary's Baby Daddy, David Allen. And the Hansel to my Gretel, producer Tim Grant.

Today on the Show: We'll discuss the latest installment in the James Bond franchise, Sam Mendes' Skyfall, starring Daniel Craig as 007. We'll boot-up the Geek-O-Matic TeleFax for some breaking news: including Jamie Foxx in talks to play Electro in Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man 2, Jaime King & Jamie Chung join Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, Bryan Singer To Direct X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and Skyfall screenwriter John Logan is writing the next two James Bond movies.

For our third segment: Ladies and gentlemen, I want to welcome you to the treehouse for a debate that may destroy Skull-Face Island as we know it. And by that I mean, David and I may kill each other with word arrows and mind bullets, or at the least may never speak to each other again over the topic we are about to discuss... Star Wars [...]

Oz: The Great and Powerful 02

A new poster has been released by Walt Disney for Oz: The Great and Powerful. This particular poster is of interest because it features none other than the Wicked Witch herself.

Ever wonder about all those other heroes and villains that just never made the team? Those slightly less than stellar superheroes who nobody can manage to take seriously? Or maybe the older ones that sort of disappeared into retirement? Well, Eric Curtis sure did. And he managed to sneak up and photograph several of them, too!

All of these photos, and the stories to go with them, are brought to you in Fallen Superheroes. Tread lightly, these may not be members of the Avengers or the Legion of Doom, but they might be dangerous (probably accidentally though). [...]

Starring Lee Young Ae, Choi Min-sik, Kwon Yea-young

Originally Released: July 29, 2005

Lady Vengeance is what I call an evergreen movie – one of those films with high value in the re-watchability area. In other words, you can always come back to it and view this movie over and over again, still enjoy it, and in some cases, get something new from the experience.
Third in Park Chan-wook's Vengeance Trilogy, Lady Vengeance follows the story of Lee Geum-ja, who is framed for the crime of kidnapping and murdering a little boy. Innocent of the crime, she is imprisoned for numerous years, during an incarceration in which she develops many connections and loyalties with existing inmates. [...]

Most notably, Eduardo Sanchez, one of the directors of the first found footage horror flick, The Blair Witch Project, and Gareth Evans, who helmed the recent Indonesian action hit The Raid: Redemption, will be among the directors writing and directing segments that will make up V/H/S/ 2. [...]
