| LeBron James’ Mom Gloria James Arrested for Assaulting a Valet Posted: 07 Apr 2011 05:14 PM PDT  LeBron James' mom Gloria James was arrested Thursday morning (April 7) after she allegedly slapped a parking valet at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Gloria was "apparently intoxicated" and the victim of her rage is Rockfeller Sorel. The Miami Beach PD released a statement about the incident:
Gloria James was charged with simple battery and disorderly intoxication. Rockfeller Sorel is now discussing with his lawyer about the case and definitely, he is seeing a big dollar sign in the forehead of Gloria James (courtesy of her son Lebron)! The cooking-reality game show will test the culinary skills of cook-contestants from all over the country. The contestants are from the auditions that were held in seven key areas in the Philippines – NCR, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Davao , Naga, Cebu and Iloilo. The Top 3 from each area will converge in Manila on Day 1 of the KITCHEN SUPERSTAR Showdown. Already attached to this new installment are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy and Christian Bale, who will reprise his role as Batman.

| ‘The Price is Right’ Gives Big, Wins Big on its Saturday Debut timeslot Posted: 06 Apr 2011 07:16 PM PDT  Philippines' Queen of All Media and The Price is Right host Kris Aquino welcomed her show's fifth grand winner last April 2 as the game show debuted on its new airing schedule every Saturday after Failon Ngayon. Contestant Regie Santos, a food attendant, took home more than P1.2 million worth of prizes, which included a brand new Mitsubishi Strada truck, a footwear showcase, a 6-seater dining room set and P160,000 in cash. His triumphant run from the show's mini-game to the jackpot round still managed to amaze Kris, who has seen many moments of victory and luck as the host of other hit game shows like Kapamilya Deal or No Deal and Game Ka Na Ba. Meanwhile, Regie wasn't the only one in a winning mood as The Price is Right also won big in the ratings game. With a 14.2 percent rating, it instantly entered the Top 10 TV programs nationwide based on data from Kantar Media. It also easily beat GMA-7's Wish Ko Lang! (12%) and TV5's Willing-Willie (9.7%) to reign supreme in its new timeslot. | Glenn Beck to End Daily Fox News Program Posted: 06 Apr 2011 06:45 PM PDT  In a joint statement, Glenn Beck and Fox News announced that "The Glenn Beck Show" is singing off! He is still involved with Fox and they will be focusing and producing "variety of television projects for air on the FOX News Channel as well as content for other platforms including FOX News' digital properties." "I truly believe that America owes a lot to [Fox Chairman] Roger Ailes and Fox News," said Beck in a statement. "I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I've learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership." The show's declining ratings and loss of advertisers due to the host's crazy rants are the rumored reasons for the show's cancellation. The transition will begin sometime later this year.
